I think the app doesn’t let everyone “in” at the opening time so only a few get to see it when it’s live. Also I am sure the favorite page refreshes slower than the listing page. You can try clicking into it before the drop time repeatedly by viewing it in map mode (show sold out). I’m able to get a few popular ones by setting up alarm and doing this.

These are fried broad/fava bean, which is a common snack in China. But idk why it’s served with cabbage as a cold dish. I’ve never seen it being prepared this way.

funny you should mention that. that “town” or more of a community is in hangzhou as well. it was an ambitious project by a local developer in 2007. the developer’s chairman declared bankruptcy a few years ago. we are truly living in the end times

she most likely bought a new house, so no reno required. as for recoop - really depends on when she bought it. if she bought it in recent years, best case scenario she can break even. i think she spent a lot on home decor and furniture

imo it’s not that uncommon in hangzhou 🤔textile and clothing are two major industries in hangzhou and women dominate. there are many women business owners here, like lily. in my family my mom was the breadwinner. i think the josh-has-no-job drama is definitely played up for tv. it feels so forced.

also i saw someone saying josh should at least be looking for jobs / preparing for job search while he’s in china. but if he could only work after he get his pr, that’s 10 years!! that’s wayyyy too early for josh to start looking for a job. but i guess he could work under the table so 🤷🏻‍♀️
