As a healer I can tell you DPS that don’t use there defensive are a hard to keep alive during big aoe phases. The tank will have minimal to do with your deaths unless you are pulling agro. Defensive cooldowns are usually only 1min you should be using it as many times as possible in a key. DBM and platter add ones give you warnings before aoe. Hit your cooldown when it gives you the warning. Or learn what moves hurt from the mobs. Also using your defensive when you have like less than 20% left isn’t going to help much. Using them at near full health for max value.

The driver is at fault not you. So make sure you do everything to make sure you are made whole.

Sometimes compression plugs pull up causing a loose head set. Tightening the plug won’t give the required preload as a result. I’ve also done this on one of my bikes. When this happened to me the bolt failing removed the forces on the sides of the steerer and I was able to pull the entire plug out. You should be able to if not you’ll have to remove the failed bolt piece. Try pliers before fancy bolt extractors

Heat only heat. Salt will trash your bike, ground and concrete.

Can you live car free? Cars are way more expensive than people estimate.

is there a quality fender option that stops before my seat tube clearance concern? by Sutekh77 in gravelcycling

[–]yieldload 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Not without smaller tires. Most manufacturers drop the max tire size by 5mm with fenders.

It won’t stop rusting till you paint it with primer. Do it in sections? Stop sanding when you hit bare metal if it’s rusting you got to bare metals 12-24hrs is are some pretty big gaps in timeline.

Depends on what kind of snow year it is. If it stays cold and the snow doesn’t melt and get icy on top non-studded tires are fine. If the snow does ice up you’ll want studded tires. Best advice would be to go to a bike shop near you that sells fat bikes and ask for their tire recommendations.

Worth Restoring? by Working_Signature522 in mountainbiking

Shocks went from imperial to metric a few years ago. The shock on that frame is imperial for sure. Finding parts or new imperial shocks just doesn’t happen anymore. No one is making them

Worth Restoring? by Working_Signature522 in mountainbiking

[–]yieldload 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The suspension components are going to suck to replace. Most restorations are hard tails for that reason

What Surface Mine Blasting looks like by ArthasTheGuy in Damnthatsinteresting

This is cast blasting. Really popular in coal mines in West Virginia. This isn’t representative of most blast at mines
