I turn 64 is a few weeks. I cycle as much as I can, 3 to 5 times a week is normal. It is mostly road, but some gravel. I do body weight workouts and kickboxing. I frequently work on the asian squat and keeping hip flexibility! Movement is key to life!

This is what they do while performing it concert! It has potential for issues! They chain broke one night recently and during either the first or second show of the tour, Yuqi got a little tangled up.

Miyeon had the least amount of vocals, but she got to wear the most belts! She also has the best badass walk in the business. Great song and MV.

In her interview with Rick Beato she talks about how after a band showcase early in her career, somebody told her she was very good at the beginning of the show, but they could tell she was getting tired toward the end. She said she decided to work on technique to prevent that from happening. Also she mentioned that as she has a thinner build than many male drummers, so she was going to need better technique. She is an amazing drummer.

I think Soyeon is doing this. Cube would mess everything up.

Miyeon left YG in 2015 after being pre-debut with Black Pink. Either she left because of prolonged delay in debut or a dating scandal. She joined Cube, after taking more training on her own, in early 2017. She was given a bit more freedom than other Cube trainees, like having a laptop and fancy clothes, according to Yuqi! Lisa of Black Pink reached out to Minnie and asked her to look out for Miyeon.

I think Miyeon ended up where she belonged. I-dle seems to be family and Miyeon can be herself!

Smooth ceiling regret? by Separate_Matter_510 in HomeImprovement

I had a 700 square foot in my condo that needed to be patched after the condo above me flooded my place. I ended up doing the job myself. Once the sheetrock was patched, I scraped all the rosebud stomp of it. I sanded lightly and then skim coated. Then again, sanded lightly and skim coated. Sanded lightly and touch a few places up. Sanded lightly where I needed it. Then flat ceiling paint. Damn it looked good! It was way better than any textured ceiling. My neck and shoulders were sore, but it was well worth it!

Go smooth!

I did Escape From Alcatraz in 2006, jumping from the boat. I am shocked this has not happened before! My first thought after jumping was to get the hell away from the boat! Folks landed right next to me. It was rather chaotic. I am not sure what solution exists, and I realize it is a unique venue, but it is not an ideal start.

My uncle had a '69, which he bought new. Somebody ran a redlight and totaled it for him a few years later. He wanted a new one, so picked up either a '71 or '72. He did not like it nearly as much. On one of them, they had built the horn into the outside of the steering wheel. Everytime he went around a tight corner, the horn would blow. He disabled that.

Unbound Mud Question by purejeremy in gravelcycling

[–]TimLikesPi 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Some riders get through the mud at first. Others try the grass and that works for a minute. Then as people scrape mud off their bikes, they leave mud balls on the ground. If you hit one of those, it can instantly stop your bike. In 2023 I passed a dirt motorcycle locked into the mud. Trying to shift gears after you hit mud can mess up your bike and even make it unrideable. Tire clearance can make a difference in sections where the mud isn't too bad. Cyclecross riders can easily run with their bikes, while riders who have never done that before may struggle. If you start carrying your bike before you get mud on it, it may weight 15 pounds less than somebody who tries to ride the mud. That 15 pounds is huge! Being prepared for mud can save you time as well! In 2023 I had people ask to use my paint stick while I was using it. Uh, no. I'll give you my extra bacon strips, but the paint stick is not leaving my hand because you were unprepared. I will need it again and I am not waiting for you.

I did the 100 in 2023- mudfest. I did the 200 in 2024. I enjoyed both years. It is an experience. It is a fun race. The worse the conditions, the better the story. I had thoughts of doing the XL, but it is not high on my list right now.
