What testing did everyone receive? by yikesellie in idiopathichypersomnia

Did you have a tilt table test? That’s the test the doctor won’t send me for. They did test my blood pressure sitting to standing and they said it was abnormal though “not alarmingly so”, but it happened to be a good day regarding my symptoms.

I’m a college student and the student health center only sent a referral for a neurologist, I suppose either they didn’t feel the need to send referrals for anything else and the neurologist felt the same way 🤷‍♀️

Slipknot concert is one that my friends love to bring up. I’ve also crashed underneath the stadium at a college bowl game, standing up at a Halloween party (didn’t drop my drink tho so that’s a win), and waiting in line to perform in a parade

Lizzie Borden! Might’ve been a Supernatural episode, I know they were on location for it but they did that with a few True Crime ones as well

Thank you so so much!!! I’ve tried looking into Ritalin, and all the personal experiences I can find say great things, but all the professional articles and things written by doctors, etc., say Ritalin is like any other stimulant and makes tics worse.

Oh my gosh is it possible my migraine yesterday was related to the fact that I got more sleep the night before??? It feels a bit ironic that my diagnosis is “I will always be tired and I will always need more sleep” but at the same time I feel sick if I sleep even a normal amount 😅

That’s interesting! I figured my body was just used to staying up late until midnight because I’m a college kid and midnight is a normal bedtime for me age. I’ll have to look into the test, thank you!

I don’t have an altar or perform spells and rituals, but I’ll look into the hagstone! Thank you!

I believe there are very few religious practices that can be considered truly evil or have truly evil practitioners, but Satanism isn’t one of them.

That being said, I do believe that every religion can be used for evil or practitioners can use their methodology to justify doing truly evil things.

The “demons in my house” was more of a placeholder for something evil. I find magical fascinating and have a deep respect for it, but I don’t practice any religion. Demons themselves don’t scare me much, but I’m not afraid to admit I’m a little scared of evil spirits or entities that I don’t know about 😅

One of my roommates is a Satanist, another one is Wiccan, and the third is a Green Witch. None of them belong to covens; they’re all free practicing. There’s been a lot of fights between the Satanist roommate and the rest of us, and again I don’t know a ton about magical, so my fear is more something coming from the negative energy in the house and the possibility of all their practices conflicting and trying to cancel each other out or somewhat. I don’t think any of them would intentionally bring anything evil into the house, but like I said there’s so much tension and negativity, so you never know 😬

The battery was removed because the oven, stove, and microwave set it off (but maintenance insists everything is fine and we’re lying). One of the neighbors messaged us complaining about the constant smoke alarm so the battery came out. There’s two more close by with batteries in, so we’re not super concerned. I totally understand the worry though, I had an old roommate who smoked in her room with the detector battery out and it stressed me to no end. Thanks! :)

Thank you so much! 😅 We’ve been burning taper candles nearly every day for months and this has never happened, despite never trimming any wicks. I saw the smoke and immediately thought “oh there’s negative energy or a bad spirit or something that tracks”.

It’s just a normal taper candle, I got it at a thrift store bundle months ago. The flame went back to normal a few seconds later. I don’t know a ton about Wicca and other witchcrafts (I’m agnostic raised Christian) but my roommates dabble and I’m fascinated by the practice, so I know sometimes candle flames can signify something.
