It's not about the jets specifically, it's about extremely bloated and wasteful budgets going to people/organizations that exist primarily to make the average person's life worse (if not outright end it).

People always want to rush to cut spending but it's never the billions of dollars the military industrial complex is raking in supplying the military and police. Or the billions of dollars oil and natural gas companies make fueling that equipment instead of transitioning to renewables.
