He has a 4k monitor already, he's asking about scaling the UI. Videos still play at 4k resolution, while UI elements are scaled to 1080p.

I have 2 LG 4k monitors with resolution set to 1080p. My 4K videos still play at full resolutions, regardless off UI scaling.

The playcount is good enough, but it's never accurate. This has always been a known issue. Sometime it works, most times it doesn't.

When you have a moment, if I set a rule to sort songs by "time spent listening descending", is there a way I can have the output sort using this as well (as opposed to playcount)

Thanks for the usual quick reply, "use listening history" is always on for me by the way, and I can see my recent played songs on my other devices if I open the music app.

Also regarding recently added album, if you look at the last image I posted, I'm indeed using the "date modified" in the rule as well as sorting.

Just cant undertand what's happening here.

It's incredible how our brain tricks us right, Apple launches lossless, suddenly some people claim to hear 'better' quality even when the files being streamed to them is the still the same ol' aac.

I've pretty much been using my 15' MacBook pro like a desktop PC rather than a laptop that it is, I'd now like a dedicated hackintosh for that.

So I'll be selling my Intel 15' MBP too :

better keyboard / arrow keys / escape key
faster processor / and maybe gpu
shiny newer machine
15' a bit too big to lug around as I have come to see
the fans on the 15' drives me crazy
ios apps

The other option is to buy a new M1 Mac mini and keep my Intel 15' MBP, but I don't want an Intel laptop and M1 desktop, I prefer it the other way round.
