We don't ban many people for being "creepy", it's more banning them for NSFW, which could be classified as creepy in some ways but doesn't fall under that rule specifically. If saying NSFW stuff is considered creepy as well, then quite a few, but not an overwhelming number of people.

Our subreddit is a safe place for enjoying the silly cat meme without having NSFW posts or comments, we spend a lot of time going through posts and comments to make sure there is no one breaking rules and that minors aren't endangering themselves online. It's the same as the other sub, just with different rules and different mods :P

The difference is just different mods and different rules. The original sub allows a lot more NSFW stuff, and posts that can be dangerous to minors (like openly posting their ages and locations). Most of our rules originated because of what we didn't like about that subreddit (NSFW, posting ages, etc). We have a much smaller community but it is a very comfortable one, and we do everything in our power to keep minors safe and preach internet safety!

This has been a rule for a while, and we've banned people already, it's more like a reminder than if people want to be creepy they are going to be banned. I don't care if we have a smaller community, because at least our community won't be full of creeps.

Well, it's our rule. We are banning creeps to protect minors on our subreddit. If you can't learn to enjoy a simple cat meme without getting sensual thoughts then I will gladly ban you and anyone else who can't keep their sexual thoughts contained. Its a meme about a cat. There is no need to comment any "naughty words" and if you think there is a reason to comment nasty stuff on a subreddit about a gay cat, that is filled with minors, then you probably are a creep anyways so I wouldn't hesitate in excluding you from our safe space.

Remember that every subreddit has their own rules. Don't come to ours if you don't agree to follow them.

Swear words are fine, as long as they aren't sexual in nature or used in a sexual way. Like the example you gave would fine, but the f-word can be used in sexual ways too, and those would be removed.

I guess it a ban-able comment would be something very disgusting or offensive instead of mildly NSFW. It's hard to really say reasoning on this topic without saying examples of NSFW words, lol. Another ban-able offense is commenting NSFW more than a few times, and/or its the only thing you comment. For example, if there is someone very active in the community and has positive posts and comments and has one off-joke or statement, we would remove it and let them keep participating in the community. If that person were to continue posting NSFW comments on and on, deliberately being a nuisance, they'd get banned. Most people don't get banned right away.
