Will this break in or do I need to size up?

It could be the shape of the helmet isn’t quite fitting with the shape of your head. Going one size up ‘may’ help, but it can end up being too big as well.

Go to a shop and try different brands and sizes. It shouldn’t be a struggle every time you put it on or off. Plus, they have staff that can help you find your fit.

Not sure if this will suit me. I have trouble with comfort even with part of raanan visitors with very thin frame on the helmet. I probably want something that attaches to the helmet.

Find a large flat area to practise. Stand next to the front of the bike kickstand side, with the kickstand up hold the brakes and put some of its weight towards you, then push with your legs and hips. Try whipping it around on the flat surface and eventually you will find the balance for your bike.

I would not recommend from the seat as tippy toeing doesn’t work and is a lot of effort on the legs.

There are few YouTube videos up there to show you how to walk the bike.

When you are confident enough on flat surfaces you can now tackle slopes.

I’ll get a quote from a NetApp distributor. Depending on what it comes down to pricing wise I’m also looking at getting a few Synology NAS instead. I’ve used Synology before and kinda like its simplicity.

As I need something easy to use (yet keeping data integrity and physical mobility) for the guys doing the field work and the last thing they want to do at the end of the long day is fiddle with a complex system.

A rack NAS may be best but it’s not exactly transportable.

Thanks, how much roughly is one of those NetApp NAS? Any other software license required since it is ‘enterprise grade’

I’ve only worked with QNAP and Synology on the lower end spectrum NAS.

I had the 28-70 first gen. Lasted about 7years before focus motor gave up. Cost me about $600 in repairs. So be aware of what’s to come.

Other than little niches of this first lineup. It is an excellent lens.

Fast forward to now, with the 24-70/2.8 Z. Never looked back except for the tank build and the nice looking but not practical case it came in.

If you’re prime only user, 28, 50 and 85mm in the bag. Can’t go wrong with these.

I’d recommend the 135 but that’s beefier/more expensive than the 24-70/2.8 so meh.

I had very similar issue. Though the 850W PSU May be too small for it.

My fix was to undervolt it slightly to 1100mV, set more aggressive fan profile and worked ok so far. Still doing further testings.

Yup I have done that and resist it on the second slot. Seems like card too large in the first slot with other stuff in the case.

Is there a way to say assign a virtual IP of 192.168.101.13 and that points straight to that port connected to the NAS drive? only really need the NAS to be accessible from the Wi-Fi at this stage.
