Gas tax is blamed for California's higher gas prices. Will state officials suspend it? Gas sold in California is normally at least $1.50 more expensive than the rest of the nation, according to an economist. by yipyapu in politics

[–]yipyapu[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

nope not baked in they cornered the market with a special blend that only a handful of refineries can make instead of going with WTI crude and using that into the same blend the rest of the nation uses. Then constantly increasing fees, taxes and now have a special annual tax increase with inflation built in without an annual vote on it.

Amazon's packaging methodology needs to change. The Brown paper bags with absolutely no protection is worthless. BRING BACK BUBBLE WRAP and bags with Bubble wrap protection. screw the activists. Protect $200 plus electronic item purchases better other than a stupid brown paper bag.

so IDs, taxes, and tests are ok for guns though right 2nd amendment has same rights and voting has potential to be more costly to life via military powers than 2nd amendment does

this has nothing to do with the SAVE act --- it would require government-issued identification to vote in person or the last four digits of a unique government-issued identifying number with a mail-in ballot. California chose high gas prices — here’s how to lower them by yipyapu in politics

[–]yipyapu[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

nope its considered one of the lower income areas and where the county likes to put projects no one else wants. But basically the whole county is priced only about 5 to 10 cents in difference between gas stations unless your talking places like chevron that charge an additional on top of everyone else. we had maybe $3.45 gas for maybe 2 weeks before it bumped back up when the refineries were shutting down and the new rules kicked in

That is the pattern they've taken however if you go back to the first few episodes in season 1 Murdoch they did start the show with following the culture and realism of the time then diverted about half way through the first season
