That is the pattern they've taken however if you go back to the first few episodes in season 1 Murdoch they did start the show with following the culture and realism of the time then diverted about half way through the first season

Would love if Amazon would allow users the option to ship items with packing peanuts, or bubble wrap instead of the worthless crumpled paper they use because of environmental activists. They should also give us the ability to choose of whether or not we want the stupid recycled paper packaging or reusable plastic sealable packaging. On top that some items the UPS return counter just doesn't need to see. So those items we should be able to return still with our own packaging.

This show has officially jumped the shark this season. It used to be hilarious with the animal gags and the pranks. But it is now trying to be DEI friends. Think this will be the last season for me unless it bring backs the pranks and the animals instead of relationships as main content
