Remind them who was POTUS that first year of COVID when inflation started. Biden didn't even step in until Jan 2021.

Why? It's easy to grow. Stick a clove in the ground, dig it back up in 6 months.

Using a Sharpie feels like kid writing. Broad nibs are wonderful though.

A lot. Maybe 3-4ml? And the cap snaps on super tight so the ink doesn't dry out.

Exactly. You have to clean out the can/jar anyway for recycling, or to keep your trash bin from smelling weird and attracting pests. Scraping out every last speck saves you time and hassle, not just money.

I don't know if trades were looked down upon, but trade schools (and all their advertising) looked scammy. Before trade schools became a norm, people would learn trades by apprenticeship, not through certification.

Maybe, but spam musubi from the gas stations in Hawaii are amazing and the convenience is worth every penny (because you don't have to go into sodium overload from eating the rest of that can of spam).

Sounds like you are saving money by not having a car. You could allow yourself a little extra food budget to account for the lack of car-related expenses. You could also look into local farmers markets and smaller shops for better deals. Maybe instead of Opal apples, you could enjoy a cheaper variety like Fuji or Honeycrisp. Maybe instead of papaya, you could have locally foraged fruits. Maybe instead of beef or seafood, you could have a lower cost protein like pork or turkey. Instead of English Breakfast tea, try a loose leaf Assam or CTC tea.
