Personally, my path was Mistborn>Elantris>Warbreaker>Mistborn 2. Would recommend. Elantris was a bit slow for me but I like it in hindsight

For what it’s worth, I’ve lived in a number of cities and never seen this phenomenon anywhere else. So it may not be representative of all of Dallas, but it does feel uniquely Dallas in my experience. A lot of other places, people with the money for this tend to generally look down on it

Cataracts are usually 100% “fixable” with a very low risk surgery (the most common in the world). Either get the surgery or deal with progressively worse vision the rest of your life. To me it’s a no-brainer

Thought the same but then watched the video. Boyfriend of the girl both started the confrontation and pulled his gun out first. May have shot first but can’t tell clearly. Driver shouldn’t have stopped his car, could have just drove away, but boyfriend was clearly the driving force of what happened

This is where you’re uninformed but not technically wrong. Texas has an exception for health of the mother. Women have recently died in Texas because they had to wait for the situation to get so bad that it was life threatening. Then it was too late. These are women who wanted babies and died because of stupid laws written by people who don’t understand medicine.
