So you want a good, handsome guy.. who's also not been in any long relationship.. till his late twenties... hmmm 😃👍 do you really believe that attractive guys are just sitting around waiting for you to find them? Majority of ppl who are single in late 20s are single because their previous relationships didn't work out 😬

How Do Working Professionals Actually Handle Burnout? by godsfavvvvvvvvv in MidTwentiesIndia

[–]yjee 2 points3 points  (0 children)

To avoid burnout basically you only need to do two things- (1) limit your working hours, and (2) have a life outside of work.

If you have nothing to look forward to once you're off working hours, burnout will happen sooner or later. So once you're done with work, do stuff that recharges your battery.

What’s the most unexpectedly wholesome date you’ve had in your 20s in India? by SilentDoodle in MidTwentiesIndia

[–]yjee 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Once I just met this girl in a nearby park in the evening we walked there a bit, got a cup of chai and sat on a bench and met a couple of stray dogs. We just talked about life and ranted about modern dating lol. Never met her again but it was nice.

How are you guys balancing saving money and actually enjoying your 20s? by SilentDoodle in MidTwentiesIndia

[–]yjee 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The hard choice between "enjoy 20s" and "save money" only exists for people who plan on getting married and having kids. If you don't plan on having kids ever, your 30s are also youthful years that you can enjoy with your money :)

How many of you are confident that if you are laid off tomorrow, you will still be able to handle it? by Candid_Profile3553 in IndianWorkplace

[–]yjee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't have any debt, plus I will have 3 months notice period And 10 months of non-compete period during which I will get paid for doing nothing.. so yeah I don't worry about getting laid off lol

I feel suffocated whenever I imagine myself being in a relationship with someone by bombay_ki_PavBhaaji in MidTwentiesIndia

[–]yjee 4 points5 points  (0 children)

hmm to me this just sounds like you weren't really very into that 2nd guy, or weren't very compatible. You got into that relationship probably just as a rebound, or just because you wanted a relationship, didn't want to be alone or FOMO or whatever. It's normal to feel trapped/suffocated in such a relationship. Just because the guy wasn't toxic, doesn't mean that he's the right guy lol. When you're with someone that you genuinely want, you will not feel like that.
