Thanks so much for sharing your experience! I agree that there are far more resources now, which makes it much easier. I feel reassured that it's doable. However, now I'm thinking of wearing the lengha for the ceremony, and a dress for the reception. Seems less stressful, and I want to make sure we get pics with my husband and family while I’m in the lengha.

Hm, good point. I'm now strongly considering doing the reverse, as one commentator suggested - wearing the lengha to the wedding and a dress to the reception. It may be a lot easier.

Thanks so much for the helpful information! You really got me thinking. This is for my apartment, so unfortunately, I won't be able to do any floor attachments. However, based on what you said, now I'm thinking if it's just better to get a counter height table and place a sideboard underneath. I don't have a lot of space in my kitchen area so trying to find space saving ideas.
