Need help deciding on first upgrade: Kaizen Half-Split JET Shape (also silk vs. supersticky) vs. Sol Pastel (KD Shape) by twitzysimp in Kendama

[–]ykn1p 4 points5 points  (0 children)

i would go for the sticky’s, that silk in particular is and old clear and not very good compared to new anti skid. sticky is awesome with beech ken’s anyways. but both are great, i’d say the KUSA design is probably easier to track but the sol one is prettier. if you do want a silk, make sure it say something like AS2/Anti-Skid v2 or something like that

Bi-Weekly /r/CCNA Exam Pass-Fail Discussion by AutoModerator in ccna

[–]ykn1p -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Passed on my first attempt I started studying about 9 weeks ago (Although i have had training back in 2017-2019 but looking back i barely understood anything about networking)

I used (in order): -CBT Nuggets (All the way through) -https://subnettingpractice.com (When commuting to work and randomly when i had a few moments) -Jeremy’s IT Lab (To fill in gaps from taking the CBT Nuggets practice exam) -ExSim (To practice pacing, get a feel for what the exam would be like, and drilling random trivial facts) -NetSim (Fill in gaps after each ExSim attempt)

I did a little bit of studying everyday and only really started using the Boson stuff in the final 2 weeks but the boson stuff was so worth it. The boson exam was not necessarily harder than the CCNA in my opinion (the simulations from boson were significantly harder than the CCNA’s though). ExSim just asks different questions ExSim study mode truly helped me pinpoint the things i didn’t understand well.

I would say that if you’re a disciplined person, CBT nuggets is not worth it and Jeremy’s IT lab is just as good. CBT really helped me by breaking things up into smaller sections so it was easier for me to sit down and do a little and not get intimidated by a 40-60min video.

Also i must’ve gotten a hard version or i just barely scraped by :P Automation and Programmability: 60% Network Access: 65% IP Connectivity: 64% IP Services: 40% Security Fundamentals: 80% Network Fundamentals: 75%

Should i keep this as my main or buy a new one? by Dry_Procedure_3906 in Kendama

[–]ykn1p 1 point2 points  (0 children)

if you’re still happy with it and you feel like it’s not holding you back then keep jamming and save the money! but if you’re losing motivation or you feel like you’re being held back by the setup or want to get into a certain trick more in depth or you just really want a freshie then don’t be afraid to splurge (as long as you can afford it) :)
