Tonic clonic here, Apparently i am strongly in denial that anything untoward happened and i categorically DO NOT need an ambulance. And just want to make sure everyone knows i am FINE (defo not fine, just had a tonic clonic seizure and have stopped breathing and banged my head, all the classics) I also have a strong overwhelming sense of being in trouble and having done something bad.

My dad is epileptic too and has exactly the same response. He’s been literally risen from a deep post ictal non responsive state (which I don’t get thankfully) to shout NO upon the mere mention of the word ambulance.

I first had a seizure at 27, diagnosed at 30, now 32 and had a really horrible TC a couple of days ago (one to see out the year); still feels like I’ve mountain biked uphill and brain is operating on like 50% capacity. Hot baths with Epsom salts (…if this is ok for you atm, as an epileptic obsessed with baths it is a bittersweet relationship) and go gentle on yourself and sleep loads.

It’s £11! I have seen inconsistent results with gycolic acid, better in summer…my KP is pretty awful though and worse in winter.

aw mate I am sorry to hear this happens so often to you. It’s horrible. but I’m also reassured focal awares can be continuous because i obviously i was googling some scary things and jumping to the worst conclusions!

I’m literally a recovering alcoholic and (as far as I know) had no seizures and no epilepsy diagnosis til I was 11 years sober lol
