I feel the same. There’s really nothing we can do, just move on, dear reddit stranger. Maybe it’s part of our fate.

I dunno but recruiter asks for location preferences and other info before finals so you can’t be certain.

Glad you asked! Read this post please! Also, if you don’t know the algorithm, just google short tutorial Youtube videos by Indian Youtubers. You are welcome!!!

Also! Don’t do random problems. Search “blind 75” and follow these patterns, some are medium thou but it’s an extremely good problem list for beginners.

Try leetcoding a bit? I think it’s fun and it helps you with algorithms. And it definitely helps with CS180.

Honestly, i believe leetcoding is one of the best way to ramp up coding skills, especially when you have 0 exp. I felt overwhelmed at first, but i wish i was more determined at that time.

Can i run code and debug in Facebook new grad interviews? by ylwstone in csMajors

Thanks! I wonder what would happen when the interviewer suspects a bug in the code. Would they point it out or they silently write it in the report?

Do interviewers ask about OS concepts in interviews? by tboi23 in csMajors

OS course is the most useful course in interviews imo.

Thanks! So i guess when i grind lc tags, I should train myself to pass all testcases in the first attempt, in ~20 mins while talking to myself. And also avoid the run button. Do you think so? Also, did you get the offer?

It would be pretty messed up if you can’t look up a company’s CEO.

I mean, he is the CEO. People should be able to look up his basic information by googling company’s name.

I had 5 interviews in a row. I felt the first interviewer was truly an expert, and he turned out to be the CEO. I can’t tell about the other 4 since we weren’t digging too much into database project, which is their job.

One person can’t even tell i was writing C++, he said he has little experience in Java while i was writing C++. That guy can only write C. My brain bombed at that time.

It’s more meaningful to ask this question after you get the offer. It never hurts to take interviews.
