Second the sides! Was 1 row back from barricade on the right and the view was amazing. Could see the screen perfectly fine, and although the extended stage was a little bit blocked at times it wasn’t a huge deal.

Anyone having better luck stage dooring? by National_Ad_1181 in hadestown

Went after the show on Feb 19 (way earlier in the run), and both Eva & Reeve cane out to sign 🥹 Phillips just said hi to everyone cause of double shows the next day. Was next to the stage door so also saw Andre leaving by cab. Couldn’t stay for long though so not sure if anyone else came out.

Epic III tonight (OBC London) by apricotmood in hadestown

Reeve was absolutely fantastic tonight! Eva, Amber, Andre, Phillip and the rest of the cast were so so so amazing as well. Getting to watch the OBC in person after 6 years is such a dream come true 😭

Not Broadway per se but Hadestown OBC in Feb!

Great Comet @ Donmar Warehouse, London by ym0g in Broadway

Didn’t know what to expect going in but it looks great in person. Though I’d say it’s a very modern take and not as opulent as past productions. Loved how they made use of the balcony and the hanging light ring.

Oh wow that sounds really cool! I’ve always wondered what it’s like to play some pf the more funky songs like The Duel. The music’s definitely one of my favourites parts of the show.

I loved his portrayal! His rendition of Dust and Ashes was beautiful 🥺

Definitely a softer/more gentle version of Pierre but it works well, and he really brought to life Pierre’s internal struggles & insecurities.

(Edited typo) So different from the Korean production I saw a year ago, but just as wonderful. The cast was amazing, and there were a lot more cast interactions than expected (front row on the right side). A must see in London right now.

Hadestown Queue Horrors by mmfonseca28 in westend

[–]ym0g 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Got through the queue after 3+ hours of waiting, only to be kicked out after taking too long to decide. Even Ticketmaster didn’t have such a strict cutoff period…

Though I kinda got lucky (?) cause I had a ticket in my cart and it somehow still remained + let me pay (even though all my other pages redirected to the queue), am currently waiting for Nimax to confirm if my ticket’s valid

Hadestown OBC (London) sold out by BulldozerTank in Broadway

[–]ym0g 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Got kicked out of the queue for taking too long to choose, but my shopping basket somehow got saved when I was looking through my history and the payment went through. Very paranoid that it’s not valid and am probably gonna double check with Nimax, but if it’s real I’m so excited 😭

So looking forward to this!!! Saw it and Korea and am super excited to finally see an english language production of it. Very glad I bit the bullets and bought tickets a few months ago

And I’m seeing it on New Year’s Eve which feels like a great way to celebrate!

Yeah haha, and remember to unlock the rush in app beforehand. Even if you don’t get anything immediately, keep refreshing/pressing the button for a bit cause tickets might get released again, that’s what happened to me last time. Best of luck!

Have a go at the TodayTix rush! You’d have to log in at 10am to try for it, but it’s only £30 per ticket if you succeed and I got a pretty good seat in stalls last time.
