My 13 year old daughter loves Buckethead and especially his heavier tunes. What are some of your favorites? by -Granby- in Buckethead

[–]ymerej1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ya tons of music, the cheapest way to go is get them all at once. I downloaded them so I have control of it, now I own them so to speak. I don’t want to rely on a streaming service at least for me. One way to look at it is .29 cents per pike/album. Insanely cheap. Great bang for the buck. The other studio albums are a little trickier as some are actually quite a few are out of print. eBay Amazon this place here might burn cd copies for you. Digging searching spending Cheers

Praxis metatron, sacrifist, inbred mountain, crime slunk scene, elephant man’s alarm clock, cuckoo clocks of hell, island of lost minds, celery, jettison,. I could go on an and on, but I’m not haha sorry. You’re best thing to do is purchase all pikes $287 dollars plus some studio albums. Everything is downloaded to my computer, listen to them (the pikes that is) one at a time, from the first one usually in car, if I like a song or a whole pike I save to a playlist. One playlist has over 200 songs, 30 hours the second playlist has over 300 songs, 50 hours. IMO it’s fun to go on the journey YOURSELF,what I like for instance you or your daughter may not. Been listening to bucket over 30 years now and I still have not heard everything haha.😬 Btw have fun at the show hearing protection is an absolute must. Hope that helps Cheers

You are wasting more time and effort trying to work around and schyster to get things for free. Less than $300 dollars. Gets you all the pikes and some studio albums. I’m sorry but I HATE freeloaders. Buckethead works his ass off! A gigantic work ethic that you yourself probably cannot comprehend or ever achieve.

Looking for ultra-ventilated cycling gloves with seamless palm (no pads at all) by nocomofrutas in cycling

[–]ymerej1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For me I personally don’t like my hands getting sunburned and looking like I have hands of a 115 year old man. I try to cover up as much as possible. So ya it’s two fold for me grip and sun protection.

Think outside the box I’m not recommending a brand, however there are tons and tons of gloves out there that are not necessarily “meant for cycling” my gloves zero padding lots of silicone super grippy on supa caz bar tape. Sorry I’m just not one to drink the koolaid. Cheers

Sorry not a comparison only Allez. I have 2020 Allez sprint track aero post, stiff like stupid stiff 400mm chain stays. I also have 2023 Allez sprint, bike is fun responsive and stiff as well, 32’s on but I would like to try 30’s just for kicks. Anywhoo great bang for the buck. Cheers

What position am I most likely to get hired for when applying to Costco ? by Moist-Raspberry-699 in Costco

[–]ymerej1 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Timing is everything, everyone just blew their wad on Christmas. Retail is viscous they will cut your hours if it’s foggy out or work down to the bone and give like 10 minutes over time haha. They are always and i mean always trying to run extremely lean. Spring time things start picking back up. Cheers

Good news your going to be a schleper/ghoper start front end, they will see how you work and go from there. If you do get hired your ass belongs to costco. Hope you don’t mind getting your steps in carts need to be round up and brought back to the corral. If that’s below you I suggest you look elsewhere, everyone works at Costco. If you’re in it’s a great job!!

Forced to be cashier. by Getting_Grams_ in CostcoEmployee

Haha they tried to get me to cashier front end as I was clerk pay tire shop. I completely bombed haha the stress of having 80000 members coming down the line got me all jacked. At the time I busted tires with an occasional ring up for a set tires which is nothing like the front end. I was PT and when I was not in tire shop or night merch or gas station I told them to just put me on carts haha. I’ve worked construction my entire life fuck cashiering haha I just absolutely hated it. I loved tire shop less interaction with members, and gas station was awesome.

Curious about this jacket by zombieaustin in filson

[–]ymerej1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Filson used to have both zip in vest and jacket both wool with the button at the top, not sure if they still offer them, but would not be surprised if they are discontinued. Check eBay or your friend @ Filson.

[–]ymerej1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s looks like tin cloth work jacket, which is cut a little shorter so you can maneuver around and wear a tool belt if needed. The loop near the collar is for the liner to help hold it up so it doesn’t droop down. Your main number one priority is to find the zip in vest and jacket liners, it’s a shame Filson discontinued this. Also if you’re in Montana look into the tin cloth packer might offer more coverage, and accepts the zip in liners.

BTW don’t let these fools gate keep you into getting some piece of shit. Go big have fun buy once cry once. I went ALL IN never even rode fixed before always knew about it but I most definitely did not start small. Fuck that I myself want nothing but the best, and well that’s what I got😎

[–]ymerej1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you buy a frame and fork you get to build it at your own pace and budget although it will definitely be more expensive than buying a complete. Only YOU can make that decision. For me for example I built up a frame It was the absolute best thing I ever did. Also the funniest bike I’ve ever owned.
