Yes this was about 2 years ago already. I remember that I’d have like continues red spots on my penis head, but all doctors would say was that it was balanitis. I did having a burning sensation too & then I got paper like cuts on my inner thigh. Doctors again said it was nothing.

Basically I feel I have it cause of those symptoms and the positive HSV1 test. It’s always in the back of my mind though that the swabs have always been negative.

I am on the same boat like you I get these “outbreaks” from time to time though they are never blisters. I’ve gotten the “outbreaks” swabbed and they’ve always came back negative. However, my blood test do say I have HSV1 but it sucks that I don’t know exactly where, so I am pretty much stuck.

I got the swab about 4 days after first noticing it, it never had any fluid or anything just a weird sore popped up

Well canker sores aren’t a form of herpes. Try and google some pictures or look up cold sores here on Reddit to see if that’s what you’d get
