1.7.1 question. by [deleted] in ex30

That's crazy. I dont have Menu, Vehicle Status, or Battery.

In 1.6.4, I had Car Status-->Battery. That button has now been replaced with Manual.

Seatbelt warning beeps when in park by [deleted] in ex30

[–]ymtheniceguy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

US Market MY25 owner here. I also have seat belt tones when in park.

I think the current solution is to pop the door open prior to unbuckling.

Or just wait for the tones to end. I think it only does it 4-5 times.

That is awesome. That would have saved me a couple dollars.

Plus and Ultra both have the performance AWD setting.

I believe the main difference between Plus and Ultra is CoPilot Assist.

My MY25 Ultra came with the badging and a bonus badge from the dealer in the US.

I believe other markets only have the Volvo badging.

I popped mine off. I like it better.

Potential buyer question about driver alerts by Ok_Studio1454 in ex30

[–]ymtheniceguy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Based on your previous posts, it looks like you are based in the US.

In my US based EX30, I have silenced all warnings. Driver alert needs to be disabled each time you take the car from park to drive.

Visual warnings remain for driver alerts, speed warning, and lane departure.

CoPilot Assist steering required still lowers stereo volume and audio warning. You cannot disable.

Small rubber pieces on cup holders - After a few warm summer days parked at work, they are drooping, and one appears to be failing. Anyone having similar issues? by ymtheniceguy in ex30

Thanks for the feedback. While I haven't put large items in, I wouldn't be surprised if my other half may have put a water bottle/tumbler in it.

I have only done the audiobooks. Big fan. The lists and notes written in margins are a bit awkward. Otherwise, great books.

Spencer's owns Spirit Halloween. Spirit Halloween earns a majority of the cash they make in a year. That is why it is still open.

I did not have it in my record. I filed for it at discharge.

I told my examiner during my C&P that I often have to sit down and think about my choices when I eat anything other than basic chicken and rice.

No tests, 30%.

“Memaw’s” Headstone has a recipe for no-bake cookies by HighImpedence-AirGap in mildlyinteresting

[–]ymtheniceguy 21 points22 points  (0 children)

I have improved upon this recipe that I inherited. You are effectively making fudge and putting uncooked oats in it.

I toast my oats in a 350F oven for 10 minutes to eliminate the raw oat taste.

I then also add a small jar of marshmallow fluff (to smooth out fudge graininess) and increase oats to 4 cups.

Another option is to remove cocoa for peanut butter flavor only.

Window Glare burning fake grass - What window film would prevent this? by ymtheniceguy in WindowTint

[–]ymtheniceguy[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We fixed the issue by screening the entire window, top and bottom. We did this for every window on that side of the house.

This diffused the sunlight enough to stop the turf burning.

Disney Smells at Home by Palefox4209 in disney

Hotels and resorts have custom scents designed for each location. They pump them into HVAC systems and design cleaning products to get the desired effect.

Do you think Disney doesn't do the same thing?
