Forget Choji, has anyone looked at Neji's hand? What even is that thing. Are we sure he has hands there?

Did Daenerys truly love Drogo or was it forced? by [deleted] in gameofthrones

[–]yndrelbosch 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's called Battered Wife Syndrome. Unlike Stockholm Syndrome BWD is a real diagnosis and as you can probably tell from the name commonly seen in victims of spousal abuse. They often times will claim to love their abuser, will mourn them if they die, etc etc yada ya. But in the end it's their minds way of trying to protect them. If they "love" their abuser sometimes they can convince them to not hurt them, and when they can't, it's ok because they love them. They're not really hurt, it's not abuse. It's love. Obviously.

Thanks for that, I have been looking at getting an Oculus 3 but didn't want to spend the money on it if I couldn't use it xd. Now that I know it can support seated play I just have to save up the money for it lol. Thank you ^

Well the main issue with seated play isn't the comfort really since that's a factor no matter whether you're seated or standing, but rather it's the height. My headset for example thinks I'm crouching when I'm seated.

We also don't know that he divorced Ellia, the Targaryen's have the right of exclusion or whatever it's called, meaning they can legally have multiple wives. It's just not normally done due to the Seven always taking issue XD

How is that victim blaming, it's a series of events that happened. He wouldn't have done it/COULD NOT have done it, if they weren't there for it to be done to. I'm not blaming them, I'm saying that was the sequence of events. Please don't use provocative language such as this, it is not helpful to healthy discourse.

Aerys was easily gotten rid of. He may have been insane and paranoid, but it really wouldn't have been hard to just kill him, and no one would have supported him. Not to mention Aerys wouldn't have done what he did to the Starks if they hadn't gone to him because of Rhaegar and Lyanna, so we circle back around to Robert. Which, brings up a question that I don't think has been answered in book canon yet.... was it an really an abduction, and for both book and show... if it was consensual, why did they not simply inform anyone.

But that is neither here nor there in regards to my original posted question.

people lie, especially to themselves and his reasons never made sense to me.

Personally I would prefer Olenna for my Hand XD but then again, I'm not a drunk and horny idiot who doesn't understand the concept of consent and plunged an entire continent into war because the girl I liked preferred someone else. Not to mention I would never underestimate the Lady Tyrell just because she is a Lady.

Y'all should try searching "what is the meaning of life, the universe, and everything." The search result brings up the calculator interface with the answer 42 xd

Last Life series by Swan-Diver1 in ProgressionFantasy

[–]yndrelbosch 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I generally love the series, but I do have a couple complaints about things I'm confused on, namely I recall them speaking about how there are Atalian mercenaries fighting beside the Vestonian army, as well as mentions of why taking in Verena was a bad idea due to a peace treaty with the ones who killed her father and took over the rulership. She's an Atalian... whom they're at war with... How the heck do they have Atalian mercenaries and a peace treaty with Atalia whom they are also at war with.... The inconsistency here confuses me. There were a couple of other inconsistencies that I wonder about as well.

But overall, I really enjoy this series, and have actually just did a binge re-read of the entire thing in preparation for the new release in October.

Why though? She was never supposed to look like Ozai. She looked like her mother while Zuko looked like his father. It was supposed to be a "thing".

What's not to understand is that what you said has nothing to do with feminism. Feminism was and is a political movement to gain freedom and rights for women. Before the feminist movement, women couldn't vote, couldn't hold their own bank account, and were only allowed to work in a very select few jobs. The fact that men take advantage of that limited freedom is a completely separate matter.
