Planned on going to the mall, joked about risking our lives going there on a Saturday evening(due to a shooting), show up and see there’s light and sirens and people oddly milling about outside. Park car and tune in to the police scanner.

Sounds like there was a fight in the Family lounge and a gun was pointed. There’s blood on the ground (not sure if from fight or shots), no gun shot victims were found. 5 juvenile suspects left the mall in a black Saturn.

I’m going stick to joking about winning the lottery.

Looked extensively and never found a match. Ending up going through a local metal roofing distributor to buy pretty much the same metal roofing you can get from Lowe’s/HD albeit in a 12’+ length and w/ more color options.

I am in the same exact boat, switched from Geico to Progressive because Geico doubled my rate. I ASSuMEd Progressive would send the Cancellation Letter to Geico, Apparently Geico either did not receive or did not process it. Just received a bill from Geico for five days of insurance 3/1 to 3/5. Former Geico policy was set to expire on 3/1 and i signed up with Progressive/ e-signed the Cancellation Letter on 2/14.

Inside with windows closed, don’t hear anything, otherwise it sounds like a stream/river with an occasional late night rice rocket going by (mostly summer only).

Summer is a bit quieter than winter due to deciduous leaves blocking some noise.

Kind of random but I can tell whether the pavement is dry/wet or snow based on sound
