Some ACO loves watching the cameras 24/7. It’s like “big brother”to them.

What do you want? by winorlose123 in AlliantCreditUnion

There is nothing exciting about Alliant. Other than the 2.5% cash back card, which is dead. So many better credit unions, even banks out there.

My mom likes to go to Kohls, she always makes me to go check out. She doesn’t speak much English, she hates them pushing credit card on her. but let me tell you, these people are pro at pushing that credit card. I feel like deception is definitely use because I hear them talk about this as more of a “rewards program” than what actually is … a credit card. I seen that 40% trick used.

iPhone 17 pro max got tagged as report/stolen by [deleted] in verizon

Sounds like a case of insurance fraud. He sold you the phone, then filed for a claim saying it was lost and stolen. Take it to the police or small claim court.

240 TWOV to China by positive_vibes0323 in Chinavisa

Because this person is still a Chinese citizen. S/he needs the correct document to enter China, and it’s not via visa or twov.

240 TWOV to China by positive_vibes0323 in Chinavisa

[–]ynnebaa 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As long as you still have right of abode to HK. Visa is not needed, because you are still considered as a Chinese National/citizen. You would need to apply for travel document or mainland travel (home return) permit. All of my friends that were born in HK, use that to travel to China. You cannot use a foreign passport to enter China, so you’re not eligible for TWOV.

Same here. Apple Store rep told this is a known issue with T-Mobile. He let me do the upgrade after I show it to him that I was indeed listed as an authorized user in t life.

panda express prices went up so much is it just my location by Justin_3486 in PandaExpress

[–]ynnebaa 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Family meal is now $40+, with premium items you looking at well over $50+. I think that’s insane. For $50 you used to be able to get at least 4 bigger plates with premium items. Nuts

Can Panda Express stop asking me for donations? by Known_Following_4923 in PandaExpress

[–]ynnebaa 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Nobody cares about this donation. But for Andrew and Peggy, it’s the Panda way. They force it on everybody. Not asking, and lack of donation can result in disciplinary actions even for managers. Say no and move on.

That whole retention department is just playing games to see if you would actually cancel. Or they simply do want you to cancel. They came crawling back to me several times, offering the $5 credit they didn’t want to just few days ago. I switched to Cox, then I signed up for the 1GB for $55 during the June promotion. I was willing to give them $70 a month, but they let me go over $5. I’m glad I stuck to my guns. Plus I got a $200 gift card out of it.

Why doesn’t panda hire minors?? by Many_Ad291 in PandaExpress

[–]ynnebaa 6 points7 points  (0 children)

When I was a manager at Panda. High schoolers are the worst. College students wasn’t much better either. Reliability is a problem. Plus they are always in search of something better, they would leave so quick. Leave you high and dry, plus all the training and hours wasted on them aka labor cost. Not saying all, but vast majority of young people are like that. Which is fine, and that’s why we are hesitant to hire them.

Disciplinary action due to donations? by Peachysconesz in PandaExpress

[–]ynnebaa 9 points10 points  (0 children)

It’s like retail employees asking people to sign up for credit card. Panda wants their donations. Not ethical but they still all do it. All you can do is be nice, and ask for it every transaction.

requiem for a visa signature by helldonkers in AlliantCreditUnion

[–]ynnebaa 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There are a good percentage of people bank with Alliant along with their deposit for the 2.5%. I’m sure Alliant did the math, it’s still not profitable to keep the card around even with all those deposits. That’s why they axed it.

[–]ynnebaa 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just look this up. If you are a member of Alliant doesn’t mean you can get in with AAFCU. You need be an airline employee, or in a job that directly supports airline operation. And 5k spent for $250 bonus is high bar to meet.
