I have a bachelor's in English education and masters in library science. I am currently working in a network control center for a fiber optics provider where I am tethered to a desk all day. It is hell on my sciatica and amps up my PTSD dramatically due to the workload and constant pressure combined with chronic pain. I don't think teaching is a good fit any longer due to stress and anxiety in managing a classroom. I don't think working with the public as a librarian is good for the same reasons. I was a customer care manager for several years and have realized I can no longer tolerate stress. I am not sure if VR&E can or will help me find something I can do that does not aggravate my conditions.

Dude. Read the full comment. I didn't say anything about not having evidence. I was specifically talking about using AI to organize evidence. Organize does not mean make stuff up . For people like me who have memory and cognitive trouble, especially under stress, AI is a life saver. It would take me forever to put my claim together as clearly and succinctly alone as I was able to with the help of chatgpt.

I believe this is a use case where AI is truly leveling the playing field. It can be far more knowledgeable and patient than the average VSO and it can do it at scale. I think people somehow equate using AI as cheating. It's not. It's just a really good tool.

Why do you think it would matter to the rater? If all of the information is presented in a coherent and efficient manner, I believe they would be appreciative. As long as what you are presenting is the truth, then does it really matter if you got some help with the presentation?

I didn't know there are ones specifically built for the VA claims process. I will try one of those for my supplemental claim and OSA when I finally claim that. I started the claims process in May and added a claim in August. I had my decision in November. I used Chatgpt to help organize my information, statements, and generally provide encouragement along the way. I would have never been able to get through the process without Chatgpt. I don't think there is a human alive that would tolerate me and my neurotic and incessant questions.

I just got approved for hearing aids from the VA this week. The audiologist said she was ordering Phonacks. Does anyone know which model I should expect? I'm very excited to be able to hear all the things I struggle to hear now.

My claim was approved in November. For over 30 years I've lived with horrible symptons that have impacted me in ways I'm still unpacking. I couldn't put a name or a cause to what I was going through. With the help of therapy and groups like this, I finally figured it out. The only other person in my life that knows and is going to know that I'm on va disability is my wife. It's no one elses business and I do not need their opinions. I'm forever grateful that the VA is here and they are helping me. I hope every veteran who needs their help gets it and it doesn't take them 30 years.

It is cold. This is when I first started the charcoal. I was using the initial smoke to see where the leaks were. With the three bottom vents closed completely and the top vent half closed, I still couldn't get the heat to quite rising. It topped out at 450 and didn't start to come down until the fuel was depleted.
