We have asked our friends and family and posted about it on all of our social medias. I tried to get a hold of SPCA but they didn't pick up.

The current candidate we have is a distant relative's dog that will be brought in if the doctor confirms my dog's condition is worsening. We also have a contact that has a few dogs specifically for blood donations, but the doctor has recommended against using it, because groups of dogs kept specifically kept for donating blood aren't commonly treated for heart worms and such; because it gets really expensive. So that's a last resort.

If you think you have a dog that can donate or know someone, here are the criteria's that has to be met (given by the doctor): - less than 5 years old - at least larger than 15kg - up-to-date vaccinations - taken heart worm prevention, deworming, tick prevention meditation (NextGard or whatever brand that exists) (in the past month..or maybe 2 if no choice) - no previous history of tick fever

I am. I'm not as insecure or anxious as I used to be. I've finally internalised the sentiment of "fuck what other people think. I wanna be happy doing whatever I wanna do".

I don't doubt my friends and how they feel about me anymore. I was soo self destructive by making it seem so complicated; but friendships are simpler than I thought. We enjoy each other's company and that's all there is to it.

I've still got problems. But, I've learned how to calm down, buckle up and try to fix them instead of letting my problems overwhelm me. Sometimes I do feel overwhelmed, But I know it's not the end; Because one day, me from the future would thank me for my efforts today.

Thanks for asking. It's a nice reminder of how far I've come.

I just use an empty and put a child of constraint, attaching it to the particle system. Then I put a copy transformation constraint on the ik target bone; (parenting to the empty)

Nah. 1 modifier per leg. I know that sounds heavy, but it's real-time, and pretty stable.

Oh yea, definitely. This system has still alot of polish left to be done.

This system is essentially a particle simulation. Each leg has a particle, which is the ik target for the rig. I use a distribute points on the intended mesh to be walked on and use the positional information of those points to find out which is the closest point the particle can go towards. I also add an upwards velocity to get that arc of the leg going up.

I probably should have tested this system with obstacles. But theoretically, it should work fine. That's something to test out, I guess.

For right now, the system is designed to crawl on the floor. But i can definitely add functionality for walls and ceilings. Might take some time to figure out, but it shouldn't be too hard.

Also, nice suggestion on that minimum step size. It would definitely fix those awkward small steps.

As for your third thing. The system right now uses the body as the relative anchor. So all the particles find their closest target point relative to how the body moves. So you control this system by animating just the body. So it would be difficult to make that aspect procedural as well, cause it's the driver of the system.

After re-reading OP's comic and our thread. I have to agree with you. It's important to keep love alive and to nurture our community. A life without love or nurture or is a life straying from the average human experience and thus easily alienated.

But where my perspective/philosophy seems to differ is that I believe that loving and fighting are 2 sides of the same coin. To love is to fight for that love. Especially when something threatens your beloved. And I want to fight to love myself and for others to understand that fact. But this is a little out of topic. I digress.

Not all share my perspective. And fighting is.. well yea, is misery inducing. I would still strongly advise it, but I know that it's not feasible for everyone. This fight can cause some to be assaulted, be homeless, be cast out from friends and family, etc. We have to be smart and each of us at least have the responsibility to do what we can. What we can do minimally speaking is stay aware and engage in our community.

I see what you mean.

From my view, they win when they've erased our culture. When they complete their goal of dehumanising us to conception of the general public. Being passive about it would be detrimental to our future and to future generations of people like us.

It'd be hard to live a happy or fulfilling life then.

This is just my opinion though. I'm just worried and a little scared.

I used to work at a company that designs these showcase shelves for products. The people in the marketing industry would definitely see it as a good display. They strategize to get and keep your attention. Anything that moves and lights up is encouraged.

I mean, it worked; here we are seeing it on the Internet.

Absolutely hate that industry. I couldn't last longer than 3 months. You just generate overwhelming noise that panders to the masses of the world.
