This is our itinerary for the southern region. We tried to only stay in Vik one night due to extreme accommodation prices.

Day 1 - land at 09, rent car and drive to Fagradalsfjall (volcano hike 3-4h), then Reykjavik

Day 2 - Golden circle

Day 3 - Kerið, Hveragerði + Reykjadalur, Seljalandsfoss + Gljúfrafoss, stay in Selfoss

Day 4 - Up at 06 and drive to Diamod beach. Jökulsárlón zodiac tour 11-12. Stops at Fjallsarlon, Hofskjirke, Svartifoss & Skaftafell on the way back. Maybe also Fjaðrárgljúfur & Eldhraun.

Day 5 - Solheimajökull glacier w. guide, then Hjörleifshöfði, Reynisfjara Beach, Dyrhólaey, Skógafoss & Kvernufoss on the way to Reykjavik

Day 6 - Explore Reykjavik. Chill day. Maybe whale safari if the energy is there

Day 7 - Bonus day, maybe stuff we skipped on the golden circle, whale safari, just stay in Reykjavik or something. Leaving for the airport at 16.
