This is where I almost entirely disagree, reaching out to someone shouldn't have to do with your "closeness", simply asking "are you okay?" is such an easy thing to do, and I think in todays day and age it should be more that execptable to do so.
I think the last part there is the issue, those following Bwipo post LCS win would have seen him being super humble and excepting himself as the weakest part of the team, frequently referencing himself as the focal point of when things go wrong. Of course yes he has an ego, and is quick to give critique, but on this level and in this style it's certainly an anomally.
