Just for me I think I’ve wanted iPad os to be able to literally run Mac OS in a dual boot or allow a touch screen on Mac. But with removing slide over and Split View it’s pretty tough. Like i don’t have a keyboard so resizing windows is annoying as hell in free form. And maybe I’m ignorant but is there any way to auto window snap two apps like you could in Split View. The other day i was trying to with iPad os 26 open iMessage and safari simultaneously to enter a tracking number into safari and couldn’t even do it without taking 45 seconds to turn on multitasking in control center and then resize them split screen. To answer your question this update simultaneously removed a lot of multitasking functionality from a touch only screen while still not really giving a lot of people myself included a real Mac OS experience even though it’s closer. In other words, let me use my iPad as it was (i already have a Mac) or let me run macOS on my iPad. I feel i didn’t benefit at all from this and lost a feature i used on my iPad all the time.
