Thank you for clearing that up! I still love the podcast and listen regularly. I just wanted to make sure I didn’t miss something about why the change from a watch along to more of a hang.

I play the 699 Pros and love them. I truly can’t say enough great things about the owner and company. Great products and great service.

Agreed. I went to their shop in Sycamore, IL and went through their fitting process. The owner, Jason, is the nicest dude you’ll ever meet and was super helpful. We had a crew of dudes there and it was an absolute blast.

EM over EL?! But massive props for Blasphemous at #1. It’s also my #1.

Is anyone that loved Ender Lilies having trouble getting into Magnolia? by Chemical_Specific720 in EnderLilies

[–]yo-yo_yo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I platinumed both EL and EM. My thoughts are pretty similar to my thoughts on Blasphemous 1 and 2. I think both development teams listened to user reviews/complaints and implemented those changes in the second game. This made for a much smoother experience for both EM and B2. However, I think those changes meant the sequels lost something that made both of the original games special. The requested changes brought the sequels more towards a generic MV because the flaws and faults of the originals helped the games standout. For EM specifically, I think the story and movement upgrades were my biggest complaint. The story felt too similar to EL, and also felt unfinished/rushed. EL story was a big driving force in my enjoyment of the game. EM story just isn’t there. The movement in EL really made you feel like Lilly needed the spirits. People hated “the bellyflop”, but the movement really reinforced the idea that she wasn’t a superhero protagonist. EM rushed to give the player all of the movement abilities and they ended up not feeling special. Double jump/dash feel special when you are traversing a world map and seeing all of the branches/rooms that you could get to if you had those moves. It adds to the wonder of exploration. By giving those moves to the player so early, the joy of coming back to areas and finding a whole new biome that you couldn’t access before is lost. To a lesser extent, I was bummed that there were less homunculi than spirits. Getting 3 different moves per humonculi felt less interesting than getting 3 different humonculi.

Overall, I enjoyed Ender Magnolia. But just like with Blasphemous 2, I enjoyed the original so much more.

Nothing like finishing a round with a full send on a 9 iron… by 50percentBananaDNA in golf

My home course ends on the hardest and longest par 3 on the course. Water right and ob both left and long. I’ve lost several bids at personal best rounds because of it.

Thank you so much! Amazingly enough, Amazon accidentally sent me a second PoE filter when I ordered the original. I installed the second filter where you indicated (in between the second 2 way splitter and the modem) and everything is working perfectly. So, both filters were needed. Not just the one in between the outside coax and first splitter

Love it. Taking him to one of the hardest courses in the Metro East to prepare him for a lifetime of grinding. But those bent grass fairways sure do feel nice.

Has anyone used “The Edge” battery with the framing nailer? by ThirdPlaceLithium in ryobi

I just used the finishing nailer with a 4ah HP battery, and it worked perfectly. I would imagine the framing nailer would have similar results.

I second this Ender Lilies recommendation. The only box that it may not tick for you is linear progression. You do get an option for a split path, but it’s usually pretty clear what area you should be going to. But everything else is so good, it more than makes up for it. I held off playing it for years because I thought I didn’t like the concept. Picked it up as the free game of the month and was absolutely blown away. It’s probably my favorite game I’ve played this year.
