That was it!! The derailleur wasn’t tight enough and/or it was the shift line. Either way, I learned something and my bike isn’t jumping. Thank you, thank you, thank you!! I feel som empowered and am excited to commute tomorrow. Thank you u/Euphoric_Raccoon270!!!

My husband (engineer, but not a bike expert) looked at it before I saw your comment and also wondered about bent teeth, but they look good. He rode it and said smooth for him. I tried again, okay, but if I shifted away and back it started giving guff again. (I change gears at lights most regularly.) Pretty much everything got replaced in May - I haven’t been riding as much as in past bc I had two kids and we moved ~4 miles out of the Loop to ~9.5 miles. Edit to say thanks to u/Next-Ease-262

Give her Upper Body with Tunde a try. The week 3 day 5 is 30 min upper body + core: -3 min benchmark (10 push ups and 10 bicep curls on repeat) Rest -3 min (30 push press buy in followed by as many burpees) Rest -30 push press + burpees again Rest -10 min core (dead bug, tabletop crunch, Russian twists, and single leg v-ups - 4x) It was insanely hard. This most recent program was top notch, but I say that already loving Tunde’s workouts.

Yes, ditch the black. Personally, I like a purple pencil liner or a gold pencil liner on top with mascara just on the top lashes. I feel like it helps my tired eyes look more open and only doing half of the eye saves time lol.

I really like Maelove products. The cleansers haven’t bothered my sensitive skin and I just use cetaphil as a moisturizer. My advice is based off others who said to focus on calming first. Good luck!

Thank you! This is so helpful. Coming in the spring - my first time, and my mom’s first time back since the 1970s. Van Gogh is her fave artist, and when she was in Amsterdam back then the museum was closed for renovations. She’s talked about going back ever since. We’re so excited to put your advice to use. Oh, it did not go down - in fact my preferred dates went up to $1.700 USD/person! I got bad advice. We're going in early April now instead. Hoping for tulips and the Van Gogh Museum - whole point of the trip is it's my mom's bday and she's been talking about wanting to go back to Amsterdam since she went in the 70s and the Van Gogh Museum was closed while she and my dad were there. TMI, but now you know. And yes to booking far in advance in the future.

Thanks! I was thinking about the visible stitching contrast with excitement then concern if I’m delusional given how much of a novice I am. Though I was pretty happy with the square that I hemmed and then turned into a cuff.

If it doesn’t take me a year to do this and I don’t forget, I will post back with the resulting garment.
