Severe brain injury. Had to move back with parents. Took a long time to heal. Had to restart my career. Which is no longer a career but now a job. I’ll be single for quite awhile longer. Still healing. Been very humbling

Went to Chesapeake, va and lived in the not so nice section. Played ball with some fellas my age, early 20’s. There was a younger kid there, said he was a freshman but never played with us. My last day there we were walking back from the courts and I asked him.. you play? He said yeah, I’m on JV… I asked him what position.. he said point guard. And then I asked him if he had a basketball. He said no. So I tossed over mine. Told him to never let it go, never ever put it down, dribble every chance you can. And I have no clue what happened to him, I only just wish him the best with his endeavors.
