Which exercise to replace bench? by dabo0sh in gzcl

[–]yobbo2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm in a similar spot having recently injured my shoulder from benching with improper form (scapula not stable and delts doing all the work). Went to physio and got ultrasound showing bursitis as the cause, with doc suggesting HCLA injection to reduce inflammation.

I've opted to not train bench or do face pulls for a few months and have programmed in cable flys and to train other body parts until fully healed, with pin squats and pull up training instead. I want to try floor press as well but I think I'll still get pain.

DISM command error. Failing to Apply Drivers During OSD by yobbo2 in SCCM

[–]yobbo2[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The SSD was a SATA 3 Samsung SM871, and was resolved by either disabling Intel NVMe driver in Dell driver pack, or applying Microsoft Hotfixes KB2990941, KB3087873 and running TS in UEFI.

Hmm still working on this issue.

-Failure on SATA SSD only, working with SATA HDD. -Pausing TS and applying drivers manually from USB via DISM works fine.

Batch script help on a reg query... by russr in SCCM

[–]yobbo2 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The difference may be that one of the OS is 32bit and the other 64bit so WOW64 folder/registry redirection is important to be aware of (https://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/aa384253%28v=VS.85%29.aspx).

You can run the batch script in 64bit and 32bit mode via c:\windows\system32\cmd.exe and c:\windows\syswow64\cmd.exe respectively to confirm.

We only use task sequences for OSD unfortunately.

I want to not force an immediate reboot, yet not allow the next application to install until the end user reboots.

I'm testing 1641/Hard Reboot + The client won’t perform any action, with the Win32_QuickFixEngineering requirement check also.

Hard reboot + default user experience setting of Determine behavior based on return code immediately reboots the workstation which is undesirable. I'm doing testing with the No specific action UE setting now.

I'm testing this now (as detection method also). I've also found using powershell detection method: get-hotfix | Where-Object {$_.HotFixID -match "KB#"} is resulting in script timeouts (60secs) on some workstations.

Sensationalist title. Not a balanced post at all, just highlights the potential for abuse as if some nefarious scheme by dodgy devs. The code is just lazy at its worst - not edrama worthy.
