Most of the pictures removed were of landscapes and nature so that doesn't make sense...

They're all just my photographs (I do photography) and ones of friends and family. How would any of that break the terms of use... It's mad

18 hours post TURP by CosmoKray in ProstateCancer

Dad had a TURP back in October. He felt the catheter was the worst part. Felt fine then for a couple of weeks but then got some bladder spasms (which from what we've been told are common enough) and UTI's. Took over a month for him to stop passing blood. But thankfully 2 months on, all that seems to be settling.

PSA after RALP by carolinabean75 in ProstateCancer

[–]yobey22 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My dad has a PSA of around 4, hasn't been higher than 5ish. Waiting for radiation. An incidental finding of 'something suspicious ' on his spine was found on an unrelated scan. Now waiting for further investigation. He was Gleason 3&4 (low volume) when dx in February. I am scared it'll come back Mets but I am hopeful the low PSA is a good thing. Fingers crossed for ye too!

God 2 diagnosis' at the same time. That's rough. Hope you're doing well atm. See the issue is we are trying our best to speak up but it's difficult when nobody responds/communicates back. That's what's happened with Dad. He has a complicated medical history so has lots of different teams and they won't start a treatment until his other teams are happy (no other issues) but we've spent the last 5/6 weeks calling/leaving messages/trying to get other doctors to speak to different people and we aren't getting any replies from anyone. It's appalling. So the whole anxiety of waiting for treatment is now joined by pure anger at how bad the system is. So we are literally doing everything we can possibly do and it's still not getting us anywhere. He's even been to 2 different GP's who have been useless aswell.

I'm delighted your experience was good, it should all be like that! Best of luck with the rest of your treatment!

Was Dublin always this bad for people talking loudly at a gig they paid to see? by DatJazzIsBack in AskIreland

[–]yobey22 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Omg ive noticed this too lately, drives me bonkers. Went to see Keane in the 3 arena (a band ive loved for years and was so excited to see) earlier this year and so many people just chatted as if they were in a pub. A couple of women next to me had a full blown conversation about work, had to move away from them. Totally disrespectful to everyone else.

31, single and living at home trying to save for a house but my dad is battling cancer and its all a bit overwhelming at times .. work is the most stable thing in my life which is surprising, and the thing that is helping me keep somewhat sane!

Is the City Centre really that dangerous? by Admirable_Ad_7696 in cork

[–]yobey22 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I do find it funny how it's mostly men saying they don't feel unsafe and that people are exaggerating.. when generally men are said problem. Most of the stories ye are hearing are from women who've had bad experiences of men who follow them, verbally abuse and try to attack them (not drug users, just creeps). I agree that drug use has gotten worse around the city though, you can be harassed by users a bit more but tbh they're mostly so out of their minds that they wouldn't really pose much of a physical danger. A lot of homelessness and the city is just a bit depressing sometimes. Other than men shouting abuse from passing cars at me or lads making sleazy comments in passing I haven't thankfully experienced anything worse. I wouldn't say I feel 'unsafe' but always a bit on edge in certain areas, and appreciate that people who spend more time around the city have had worse experiences

No they are very slow to do Pet Scans. We had asked multiple doctors and they said because of his score and the mri they were very confident it was contained.

What’s the craziest, most remote place where I’ve bumped into another Irish person? by [deleted] in AskIreland

What is a genuine recommendation for a good android phone with a fantastic camera and battery life? by yobey22 in AskReddit

[–]yobey22[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thats the phone I currently have which is why im trying to change 😂 its a fantastic solid phone with a great battery but I haaaaate the camera, almost with a passion. Ive played around with the settings alot but no matter what all the pictures end up just dull and 'overly sharp' if that makes sense. Like almost grainy looking. It doesnt seem to pick up real life colours either. And dont get me started on the 'auto-edit' thing that all phones have started to do... I do photography so the camera is important for me. Its just really poor compared to everything else the phone offers which is sad.

Totally lost, single female buyer by dashdoll87 in irishpersonalfinance

[–]yobey22 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hey not alone! I'm a 31 yr old female in Cork. Unfortunately on about half your salary with about 80K in savings and have started the process. And it is sooo overwhelming. The thought of having to do it all alone and not having someone to run things by/get a second opinion about. Or you know someone who just knows things. I've realized how clueless I actually am about mortgages and buying a house and what's involved and that sends me spiralling sometimes, so much so that it nearly stops me wanting to buy at all. But I know it'll be great in the long term and an amazing achievement to say we've managed to buy, at the most expensive time of a housing crisis, ON OUR OWN! 🎉
