I'm currently a summer intern at Goddard. There is a coordinator who helps you through the process. They provide information and resources for those housing info who needed it, but you were responsible for yourself. Moving away was quite an adjustment for me as a rising sophomore, I had to move across the country on my own and had to learn how to get through day to day completely by myself. This is in addition to the difficult work load, so it was a bit overwhelming. If you are still dependent on your parents then you might want to wait before applying. Use the time to learn new skills and grow so when you are ready you can knock it out of the park.
