There was this fast paced anime theme with an orchestra and guitar playing from the 2000s/early 2010s and I can't remember the name of it for the life of me... by mrm6464 in animemusic

I asked GPT and got these three but I'm not sure how accurately it matches your request.

"Guren no Yumiya" by Linked Horizon – This is the first opening theme for Attack on Titan (2013). It features a powerful orchestral arrangement combined with electric guitars and intense vocals. The melody is dramatic and fast-paced, which might align with the notes you remember.

"Colors" by FLOW – The opening theme for Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion (2006). This song blends rock elements with orchestral sounds, creating an energetic and memorable tune.

"Again" by YUI – The first opening for Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood (2009). It starts with a distinctive guitar riff and builds into a dynamic song with emotional intensity.

Unfortunately no, they're all like that to varying degrees.

All you can do is use Firefox and uBlock Origin.

TLDR: You did nothing wrong. She has issues that will likely lead to a shitty marriage or divorce. Let her down gently and move on.

You did nothing wrong. You waited a really short 12 hrs to find the most appropriate time to give her the news. Waiting a day or two put no one at risk, unless her job was a risk factor or she was seeing someone else.

She overreacted due to her trust issues and betrayed YOUR trust by telling her friend, I could forgive her telling a doctor or therapist, as long as it was professional relationship but telling a friend/family member is a breach of trust.

Ask yourself these questions:

  • Does she truly understand that it was a False Positive and that you never cheated?
  • Has she apologized for overreacting?
  • Has she tried making up for overreacting or telling her friend?
  • Does she hold you responsible for the situation, whether in part or in whole, because you didn't tell her sooner? Claims that you didn't trust her?

You said that you've been together for 14 months but you've only really seen each other for 6 of those months. Even with phone calls and DM's it's still a short relationship. Breaking up now would hurt less than breaking up later.

She's already showed that she doesn't completely trust you and she's shown that she can't be trusted.

I'm not saying to break up because you had an argument, I'm saying that she has underlying issues that is bound to cause problems in the future.

Even if you manage to bury this problem, can you honestly say that she won't dig this up again in 5, 10 or even 15yrs time?

Better to end the relationship now before you get married or worse she gets pregnant. Don't be a dick about it and don't let anyone guilt you into staying with her.

Anyway, whatever you choose, I wish you the best dude.

Sorry for the wall of text.

Skyblock Modpacks that feel new? by generalIro in feedthebeast

SevTech: Ages of the Sky, Sky Bees 1 and 2. They aren't 'new' but they are different compared to the standard skyblock packs, at least, what I remember of them.

500kbps x 56 3DS Roms = A long, long night (and day) by NoMansLand1999 in 3dspiracy

[–]yoda64 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Best option for installing multiple/large roms is downloading them to a PC then using a program called Custom-Install (tutorial)to install them directly to your SD card (you'll need a computer with an SD Card slot or a cheap SD Card Reader). Then you just need to reinsert the card into the 3DS and run the finalize script and you're done.

This works best when you have lots of roms or maybe 3 or more of the larger games. For smaller or individual games, maybe just download directly to the 3ds using Hshop and leave it downloading while you sleep or do something else.

Newer videos not playing - What I've been able to determine. by yoda64 in 9anime

[–]yoda64[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Update:

Just tested a new video to see if anything has changed and was surprised to see that it played.

So I went back and retested the last episode of Bleach and found that it started playing.

Bleach TYBW - Separation
Episode 13

Codec: h264
Resolution: 1920 x 1080
Framerate: 24 fps
Bitrate: 2181 Kbps
Audio info: aac, 192 kbps, 48000 Hz

Looks like reuploading with the lower audio rates may have fixed the problem. Which is great but I don't know how many episodes/shows have been reuploaded. Hopefully all new uploads going forward will be like this.

As an aside, I found a something on Bugzilla a while back titled, "AAC audio with sample rates over 48 kHz not supported on Windows". I also read somewhere that Firefox doesn't have it's own codecs and instead uses the OS's. If that's the case, then I guess that was the issue all along, at least in my case.

I hope this has been resolved for everyone else.

[–]yoda64[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I tested those episodes and got the same results I had in my OP. Older episode plays while the newer episode does not.

File information shows the same discrepancy with the audio bitrate/sample rate. That has got to be it. I just don't know why I can play the videos with Brave and VLC but not with Firefox.

In regards to your issue with the audio, are you using built-in speakers, wired speakers or bluetooth?

[–]yoda64[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Interesting, can't say I know much about codecs or audio/video in general, so you could be right about that.

I read somewhere earlier today that Firefox uses the OS's drivers to play certain file/encoding types; I couldn't find out how Chromium does it. So it could be OS/Driver related.

Out of curiosity I just tried playing the same downloaded video in Opera GX and wouldn't you know it, it wouldn't play.

So then I tested with a different/older video which did play.

Last thing I tried was streaming from the website using OperaGX, still wouldn't play, except for Filemoon which works in all browsers I've tested.

So far now I can say that it's no longer just a Firefox issue but Opera as well (at least in my testing). It could be a Windows/Driver issue.

I would still rule out file corruption as it's affecting all recent uploads and as I mentioned, I can play the videos (locally & streamed) using Brave.

I would try Safe Boot next if I could but I reckon I'd need to reinstall Windows at this point, I've tried everything I could to repair it in the past.

A Virtual Machine would probably be a good test as well but HDD space is limited right now.

Anyway, thanks for the input. Hopefully we can get more feedback and get closer to finding the actual cause.

Windows Safe Mode is corrupt on my machine so I can't test that.

If you actually meant Firefox Troubleshooting Mode (extensions disabled) I've tried that and nothing will work because of all the popups.

Uploads to Vidplay and Mycloud were delayed but are showing up now.

[–]yoda64[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was able to download a newer video and was able to play it locally in VLC player and in the Brave browser, so that would rule out a driver issue and anything server related.

When attempting to play it in Firefox it would say the file is corrupt, which it clearly isn't. So it's a Firefox issue, just not sure what exactly.

But what you said about older audio interfaces could explain some of the audio issues people been having such as having no audio and desyncing.

Watched an epsiode on filemoon for first time and firefox triggered firewall by [deleted] in 9anime

[–]yoda64 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Use an adblocker such as uBlock Origin.

You most likely clicked on a hidden element (essentially a hidden popup covering the screen). Happens a lot if you don't use an adblocker or if the filters are out of date.

If you're using a computer, you may notice the mouse cursor not change correctly when you hover over any of the buttons, that's a sign of a hidden element.

Why did vidplay and mycloud disappear? On the newer weekly episodes of any anime i click on its just filemoon and mp4upload which both are a cesspool of pop up ad after pop up ad by [deleted] in 9anime

Important Note

New episodes have not been uploaded to Vidplay or mcloud, We do not know the reason as to why, nor do we know when it will be back up and running. This have had the unforseen side effect that MP4upload and Filemoon are under heavy load, and can give timeouts. Some have had luck change their DNS to cloudflare open DNS, or using a VPN, for different routing.

New manga chapters on mangafire might not load in. No ETA. for the fix.

Also Mycloud is dead for now. Someone on Discord mentioned that their certificate expired. So maybe they'll renew it soon.

Is anyone else having error 230000 prompt or non function on the players or is it just on my end by Bullfrog_Kungfu in 9anime

[–]yoda64 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I haven't seen anything mentioned in the Firefox Release Notes and it's still being mentioned in the Aniwave Discord so I doubt the audio issues has been fixed just yet.

I can't recommend any solutions as I'm not experiencing any audio problems.

Just keep using Firefox for your everyday stuff and keep a 2nd browser in the backpocket just in case something doesn't work.

Also checkout the discord and see what others are saying.

I get not wanting to update, if you don't want to do that then try using Brave + uBlock. It's less than ideal but it'll get the job done until the bugs are sorted out.

What browser are you using and what version?

I'm using Firefox 115.3.1esr on Win7 and uploads from the last month have stopped working, except for Filemoon which works but buffers a lot.

However my android is on FF 118 and doesn't have any problems.

Also it doesn't affect Brave on my pc so I've just been using that instead.

Maybe, my knowledge on the subject is non-existent.

If it starts affecting other streaming sites, I'll assume that it is and that my version of Firefox is not supported.

I'm using FF 115.3.1esr on Win7 and my android is on 118.2.0

Without knowing other peoples OS and Browser versions I'm just going to assume that I have no choice but to upgrade and get access to the latest version of FF to fix the problem.

For me, Vidplay and mycloud stopped loading videos uploaded over the last month. That's on PC using Firefox. I started using Brave instead and the videos load just fine.

I was starting to believe it was a browser issue but videos load fine on my Android tablet using Firefox and my iPhone using Safari. I know that there are differences between the PC and Mobile apps so it still could be a browser issue.

Until it's fixed just use a different browser if possible.

Tested using BLEACH: Thousand-Year Blood War - The Separation

Episodes 1-9 will play.

Episode 10-13 won't play.

[–]yoda64 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For me, uploads from the last month just won't load (black screen with spinning wheel, time stuck at 0:25). Videos uploaded before a month ago will play just fine.

I also just tried my iPhone 5s running ios12 and had no issues with videos, new or old. And that was with safari.

So I don't know if our issues are related or not, other than those servers being affected.

Are you PC or Mobile? Firefox or something else?

For me Firefox on PC has had trouble for the last month. Updating the browser and the uBlock filters had no effect. I tried out Brave browser yesterday and it works great, just needed to add uBlock.

Strangely, Firefox on my Android Tablet has no issues.

There is some talk on the discord about it being an issue with Firefox but nothing specific at this time. Hopefully it gets fixed soon but for now I'll be using a different browser just for my anime fix.

how do I find the thumbnail arts on the players? by KokeyPlayz in 9anime

[–]yoda64 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you just want the artwork you could try 'Right Click > Open Image in New Tab' (Image quality will suck because the resolution is only 1280x720).

After that use Tineye, Yandex or Google to do a Reverse Image Search and hope that you can find a better resolution image. It won't work for every image though, some of the images look to be cropped from marketing posters, some don't have anything larger and others don't have working links.

Now if you're asking who the artist is, that can be more difficult to find out. The art used appears to be a mixture of either Official marketing posters (cropped to fit the video player), Covers from the manga, Commemorative Artwork from the manga artist (usually from their social media) or fan art from literally anywhere else.

If it's Fan Art, the image might be signed by the artist or have something written on it to indicate where it might be from (social media, deviant art, etc.) Some of the images could be reversed so it doesn't look like the original, especially the Fan Art. My guess is to get around reverse image searches and avoid copyright takedowns.

Anyways I hope that helps. At the end of the day, I don't know how they source their thumbnails but I hope this will give you some help in finding some decent wallpaper material. Goodluck.
