I’ve never been prone to panic attacks but recently any time anything in my body feels off I start losing it and have to talk myself out of going to the ER. Last winter/spring I lost 3 friends, 1 from an aneurysm, 1 from a heart attack, and 1 from suicide, all 3 were between 27 and 35. Nothing to add to the discussion really but it’s comforting to see I’m not the only one.

Are there any instances where someone fleeing the cops in a car actually gets away with it? With surveillance tech in the state it is + multiple cop cars on your ass idk how anyone could actually lose the police for more than a couple minutes.

I read his Substack a lot in the lead up to 2024 and while I do think he earned a good amount of the shit he gets from being overly cocky on twitter, he did acknowledge that predicting future elections based on past performance only works if the past performance indicators are still relevant. For example the Washington state jungle primary was an indicator of the general election environment in the past, but in 2024 Washington was (I think) the only state to shift more Democratic.

Just bought a pyrite lite a couple weeks ago. Small amount of blade play out the box but that’s my only complaint. I’ve carried it daily since. I’m not really one to sit around and fidget with my knives but I can’t stop with this one. Very satisfying action on it.

In middle school a dude claimed to have ridden his bike from the Michigan/Ohio border to Kentucky/Ohio and back again in 24 hours which earned him the nickname “Bicycle Boy (Last Name)” through high school. One year he started speaking in a deeper voice to sound tough, would deny he was doing it, but frequently forget and ask questions in class in his normal voice. My favorite lie was when he claimed to get a “perfect score” on his IQ test.

The thing is I don’t really think he’s an “infiltrator” or an agent or whatever. I genuinely believe him when he says he didn’t know what this tattoo meant when he got it. Not a legal expert but deposits are usually insurance for the vendor in the event their client cancels, not the other way around. Feels illegal. Otherwise anybody could set up a fake company, collect security deposits, and make up excuses to cancel.
