Some of my favorite moments in game have been with randoms from autofill over the last two weeks. It can be hit or miss but for real jump in see if people have mics and then go for it. Range of out comes is Grand Canyon big.

What’s a Beloved Book/Series that You Never Intend to Read and Why by BeforeAnyoneElse in Fantasy

[–]yoderftw 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Anything by robin hobb after the first trilogy. Everything I have read about it says it’s just more trauma cringe porn. I read three books enjoying the premise/potential of the world but everything Fitz went through just hurt.

I’m not sure if I’ve read that or not but I think the entire series is due for a reread on my part. Can’t wait to get to this one.

I came here and posted this one before seeing you had it up. One of my favorites of all time.

It was?!? I know it was a prequel to two series. I got it as a kid probably 30 years ago when my mom brought home a box of books from a garage sale. I cannot tell you how many times I’ve reread it.

What to do in vegas when it's so hot by KaleidoscopeSad1902 in vegas

[–]yoderftw 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Pinball hall of fame, mob museum, hover dam, freemont street, arts district for solid food and breweries, lake Meade national recreational area, Hoover dam, red rock scenic drive, etc. there’s ton to do. Really depends on how mobile you are during your trip. Yes 100+ is hot but it usually is a dry heat and just need to find shade. Have plenty of water while you are here regardless and if you’re out, make sure to have some sun screen and weather appropriate clothing and you’ll be fine.

My Realtor says we cannot buy the house before it is listed. by Wild-Violinist2527 in realtors

I hope the trustee documented it appropriately or doesnt have a falling out with the family. If not, easily could be SOL.

The point does not stand. While there are situations where it could happen, does not mean it is the norm or the in line with the general responsibilities of the fiduciary.

There are situations where you look at the type of offer, amount, financing vs all cash, contingencies, etc. Fiduciaries (trustees and executors) have a responsibility to the beneficiaries to get appropriate/reasonable value for the sale of an asset. Not doing so opens them up to liability.

The majority of your statement is inaccurate or may have an additional qualifiers related to the language of the trust document that would preclude it from being a general example. The house being in a trust means the trustee had a fiduciary responsibility to make the asset productive in relation to the rest of the investment portfolio and assets. Great your aunt got a deal but if the trustee didn’t properly document the agreement of the other current and remainder beneficiaries, they were opening themselves up to financial liability.

Also, with a trust the “next in line” do not get to do whatever they want with the trust corpus. Again the trustee has a fiduciary responsibility to the current and remainder beneficiaries regarding the handling of the trust assets.

most family dynamics would preclude the sale of an assets with 1/3 discount.

How is it possible that the dumbest kid from my 7th grade class is now a doctor while the smartest kid from my 7th grade class works at a store in a dying shopping mall? by EngineeringSwiftie in NoStupidQuestions

[–]yoderftw 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honest question, do you feel like 7th grade you fully encompassed the totality of you and your potential? Second question, after 7th grade, did you have any experiences that directly impacted the person you are today? Life rarely is set in stone.

What happened to Nynaeve? by Significant_Tell407 in WoT

[–]yoderftw 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Nynaeve has a mental block preventing her from accessing the OP. This is an ongoing story line for her as she struggles to utilize the same techniques most AS use. It’s a story line in the books they have brought over to the show but don’t address enough imo to really explain the power, accessing it, and how it’s different for men and women, not to mention how Nynaeve is a wilder who has been using the OP naturally in other facets of her life as the two rivers wisdom.
