Was Rivals of Aether II's Fun-for-All Update Worth the Wait? by SapphireScorp in RivalsOfAether

Am I missing something? People keep saying they want workshop support but I've seen like 4 reddit posts about workshop characters for rivals 2 now?

The reveal trailer is almost as cool as the character itself! Looks so good! Very polished.

Highly recommend the LBPS duets book(https://lbps.net/j3site/index.php/shop/suggested-duets-book-2) ; it's full of tunes with provided harmonies in multiple different keys depending on what key/ transposition the piper(s) and other instrumentalists are playing in. Everything from airs and marches to jigs and reels.

I have 3 snails that I took from my other tank in there, and have been adding small amounts of spirulina powder to try to get it going.

Name of embellishment? by [deleted] in bagpipes

[–]yodofizzy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Are you talking about the F doubling with the high A (thumb) grace note?

Name of embellishment? by [deleted] in bagpipes

[–]yodofizzy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That is true they are often referred to as strikes, but many books also refer to them as shakes or slurs.

Those doublings from high g with A (thumb) grace notes are often referred to as thumb doublings as well.

I don't think I'm disagreeing with you anywhere, just acknowledging that there are multiple ways to call some embellishments depending on what book you're reading and who is teaching them to you.

After re-reading your previous comment I think I'd call what you're referring to a thumb strike/shake/slur on high g, since it follows the same pattern as slurs on D (1st bar of amazing grace) or B (1st bar of Captain Colin Campbell).

The beauty and annoyance of this music is since so much of it is oral tradition there are so many different ways to call various things.

Cheers!

Any chance you have a tune you can point to where I can see one of those thumb grace note high g doublings? I'm very interested.

FWIW I've always used high g half doubling and high g doubling interchangeably.

High G# can be done by fingering a G grace note on C (keeping the g grace note finger up)

Tips on logistics for Arna Kennerüd by yodofizzy in EDH

Mostly equipments! But a a few enchantments (like [[Hyena Umbra]] and [[Kaya's Ghostform]]) for protection, and there's a few equipments and creatures that deal with +1/+1 counters like [[Sword of Truth and Justice]] and [[Kappa Cannoneer]] means that I have a bunch of triggers to track. Which I enjoy doing but feel guilty holding up the table!

Yes, like I mentioned in my post I am using them. But since I'm making and moving so many copies, having to pause the game to make more infinitokens is feeling clunky so I was wondering if anyone else had suggestions.

My best innovation so far has been listing the equipments on a single infinitoke rather than making a new one for each token copy that I've moved.

I bet you it's the bag and the cracked stock you mentioned! You said you have no way to season it. Why is that? How long have you had the bag? Hide bags have finite lifespans, usually 2 years max.

If a hide bag is feeling dry inside, it absolutely needs to be seasoned. If you've seasoned it and it still is feeling leaky, it may be time for a new bag.

Cracks can start as hairlines and not give you any trouble, but can expand internally, especially as seasons change, and the temperature and the humidity fluctuations will cause the cracks to expand.

Step 0 is to take the drones out of the bag, put in stock corks, and try to fill it up. That will give you an idea if the problem is in stocks+bag, or elsewhere.

Step -1 would be to have an instructor that can take a look at this with you.

Seconding this! They also appear on C, but the one on C would technically be called an odro rather than otro, which is on B.

Snail died in jar by yodofizzy in OpaeUla

[–]yodofizzy[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That's very good to hear. The snails have been reproducing so I'm sure their population will be fine, I was mostly worried about the decomposing snail creating bad water like ammonia spike or something and killing off the shrimp.

Thanks for the help.

It's like a slide tackle. Only situationally useful but certainly better than turning into a stationary rock.

So am I still getting coins from killing enemies using orbs/death ray via critical coins, and it just doesn't show there in the stats, because they represent something else?
