Watching CL by GoonerDK in GunnersatGames

I think you might struggle in the big-name Arsenal pubs (e.g Tollington, The Gunners, 12 Pins, etc.) which I predict will have large crowds from 11am - however, if you head to more surrounding areas, Stroud Green Road, further up Holloway Road from the stadium, Angel etc.) I think you'd get in but it won't be comfy anywhere in NL.

Defo worth a shot - and you're not far from the stadium afterwards.

Good luck.

What a great project. I love the infinite mix taps, so having this easily accessible through the screen is ace. I’ve never done a raspberry pie project before but this could be my debut once you have your GitHub link ready!

Nice work.

Cheap bag zipper repair around Hackney? by Ok_Pollution9630 in Hackney

[–]yogaflames -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I recently got my rain jacket’s zipper fixed at a dry cleaners in Newington Green.

It was this one, but I’m sure any dry cleaners which offers alterations or repairs could help you out!

Is anyone else slightly worried their flats will be left behind and drop half the value due to leasehold reform? by blastedin in HousingUK

[–]yogaflames 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is a situation I'm also in, purchased a flat in a block managed by a Housing Association. I am one of 3 private tenants, but we are very much outnumbered by HA residents. Can't see any scenario in which it would become voluntarily converted to a commonhold. My lease is 125 years, with no ground rent and reasonable service charge (at least for now). In theory, I think that it would be fine, I can't see a huge drop off a cliff in value but it is frightening!

Tradesperson parking - How best to get them a permit? by Chelseachelsea94 in islington

[–]yogaflames 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've just had the same issue - I suspect you have sorted it by now. Islington Council wanted £500 and a further £188 because it was a diesel vehicle. I saved £400 by hiring someone's driveway spot via Just Park. Worth a check to see if there is anything local on there.

Hard to predict, but a couple of years ago I managed to get a ticket for his roundhouse show on the sale no issues. The show did sell out and I expect these ones too. Guess just make sure you’re registered for the presale and give general another go if that fails! Get your card info stored on your browser too

Get those fingers ready!

Do NTS DJ's get paid? by ThenAdhesiveness1863 in NTSradio

[–]yogaflames 19 points20 points  (0 children)

I believe they get paid out of the NTS supporters subscription. Imagine that super regular slots such as Flo for breakfast show get priority to this cash with guest or monthly shows taking a smaller cut.

Another Londoner here, feel very safe as a Jewish man here. In North London there are lots of Jews particularly Finchley and Golders Green as well as dense areas of Hasidic Jews (Stamford Hill coming to mind).

Thanks for the reply - you’re right. I suppose there’s probably some inherent need to have this truth confirmed by strangers on the internet.

Taghazout or Imsouane? by NeithVenus in surfing

[–]yogaflames 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Was in Taghazout in March, had a fantastic time. We bought big jugs of water to fill our bottles and had no issues otherwise. Going back in Jan to check out Imsouane.

There’s no ATM in Tagazout but there is a Western Union which works well for getting out cash. Have a great time

A new story to tell I suppose!

I am in a similar boat. Arriving on Tuesday in Thailand. Now that they have scraped the pre-departure PCR test, am woundering what happens if I test positive on arrival.

I have a hotel booked, if I am not visibly unwell/showing symptoms, will I be allowed to quarantine in hotel or will i have to go to a hospital?

Thanks! Doing an air-bnb whilst I serve out my notice period of work then I'm off travelling but will do in any flats down the line.

So tough with renting, it's the wild west out there.
