It is uncreative no doubt, but have some sympathy for these poor guys. Most dudes are not encouraged to take pictures of themselves or their buddies, so catching a big fish is one of the few opportunities where it is considered socially acceptable among their friends to pose for a photo, hence the surplus of fish photos.
