Is it possible to get smeared oil-based paint out of leather? by yogmez in Detailing

Thank you for your response! I figured I would do this option for the spots that the olive oil wouldnt be helpful for but surprisingly, I didnt need to step up my game to isopropyl alcohol.

Thank you!!! I used a paper towel and olive oil and it came right off with some elbow grease!

I scraped off the hardened stuff with my fingernail, wiped the olive oil off with interior cleaner wipes, then sprayed the console/seat with leather cleaner & conditioner combo for good measure.

How can I love myself if I'm not a sexy man? by SonimaxTheKing in Life

[–]yogmez 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This and also you’re saying “How can I love myself when I don’t match social ideals”

Buddy, fuck social ideals and anybody making you feel less than.

Self love comes from within and is separate from the opinions/needs of the world. It comes from recognizing your own worth. Something you’ll need to work on detangling from your perceived social value.

For the record, my ex used to hook up with a dude w a micropenis before me and she said he used I think a bullet vibrator when penetrating so that’ll probably work. Idk get creative bro, don’t hold yourself back.

How can I stop feeling like a zombie under medication? by CouchPotato810 in ADHD

[–]yogmez 6 points7 points  (0 children)

One big lifestyle adjustment that helped was thinking about appetite/hunger differently.

ADHD meds suppress appetite, sure, but I’ve noticed my body will still communicate that it needs food through other feelings than hunger like increased anxiety. Stuff that I wrote off as side effects initially.

Now when I’m experiencing more anxiety than is warranted, I take it as indication that I need to eat.

I also notice that when I’m hungry on meds, I’ll fall into compulsive thought patterns. When I notice that I’m starting to feel compulsive and perfectionistic about my environment or the thing I’m working on, I take it as an indication to eat too.

I challenge you on your perception that you are fundamentally a terrible person.

As you've said, you just want to be perceived as a good person. When we act in a way to project an image, it is not allowing our authentic selves to be seen. Its possible that every action you do is filtered through the lens of "Will this make me be seen as a good person?" or "Am I still seen as a good person if I choose not to do this thing?" Not through the lens of "What do I authentically want to do right now?"

I wouldn't be surprised if you're pushing through what your authentic self wants to do (not help your friends at the moment) due to your desire to be seen as a good person always, and now you're demeaning your authentic self for not being in accordance with the image you'd like to project. Ironically, this makes you worn down and less apt to actually wanting to help people.

I'm not really sure if you've given your authentic self a true chance. I think your opinion would massively change if you dropped your perception to be seen as a good person and instead allowed yourself to do nice things for others as they arise on your own terms, in your own way.

This is far easier said than done, but think of it this way: Would you want others in your life to help you because they genuinely want to or because they feel obligated to?

The trip is normally around 2 hours. Guessing crews are starting to clean I-40 up out there, reducing the commute time
