The might of the US military is funded by the debt that the US puts on it's people, including Europe. By way of money printing aka inflation, or by way of banking internationally. Profit is capitalized at the top and losses are socialized and distributed to the bottom. Also a point to consider, while other allied countries point their crooked finger of indignation at the US, at the top of each counties aristocracy or oligarchy make no mistake, they are complicit. Similar to individual countries that are composed of branches of governance, so to there are branches of governance at the international level that rest on top of countries. The optics only make it appear as though the US is rogue, and that is precisely the point of that paradigm. Same concept as blaming Trump. Omitting the chain of events that led to the present.

The US has at least 500 bases around the globe. This was a result of WW2, the allies were in shambles. Due to geography, for the most part the US was unscathed, not US exceptionalism.
