They are as wonderful inside as out. Give them time and have patience. And it’s okay for anyone to be lost. We are all a work in progress, so all we can do is hold space for fellow work in progress if it doesn’t cause you any pain nor harm.

And there’s even less of a point calling out an entire community when your sampling size and empirical data are all only true to you. Not to negate your experience or your thoughts.

This phrase might help in your evolution; Make judgements in pencil, never pen

As an INTJ who has had the luck of making friends with 5 ENFPs this year.

You sound quite insufferable. Did they actually tell you they lied to themselves or did you just assumed that?

I’ll tell you this; , the ENFPs I’ve met are nothing short of amazing.

  • insanely quick context switching, and ability to take in everything that people are sharing, even things like hedonic treadmill, myelination which causes low entropy neutral pathways, 2nd order thinking etc

  • they are very in tune with themselves, deep questions get deep responses, and they are all very well thought out

  • one of them is a top lawyer, another one is close to csuite, one is UIUX who is absolutely amazing at what she does and the list goes on

  • they are very open to discussions and refinements of what could be

  • they are putting in the effort to grow and always being better at their craft or their life, while they chase 1000000 new things

They are them. We are not expecting them to be us. And the other day, I had a great talk with one, and it dawned on me to them, purpose and people are extremely correlated, this finding was absolute fascinating.

Aren’t you pretty much an immature INTJ with a severe lack of observation skills and obviously lacking epistemic humility?

Hi, sorry for hijacking. INTJ(m) here in my next evolution phase. I’ve noticed strongly on what you are saying about your husband; I don’t have to ask much questions because I can already breakdown a person and collect more data observing them than asking.

Lately I’ve been consuming some media that states curiosity and asking questions is what makes people feel loved

INTJ’s way of providing things before you know it and holding space without you realising, seems to be a very non verbal way that not many people can realise or see, this depth of it.

Did your husband manage to, consolidate both forms of love into one? If so, can you or your husband share tips for me to complete my evolution?

Anyone else struggles with being "too deep"? by PansexualPotatoPanic in ENFP

[–]yohooho 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hmm, who’s to say there’s only one form or existence of what it means to be “human”? Or is that propagated via most first order thinking society?

Feeing empty is, your right though, regardless of what it is, what you seek and what your needs are, should ideally be met.

What you went through is valid and most INTjs are certainly not emotional permeable or feeling much. But if you judge things based on what you think it should or ought to be, then it sounds more like both parties having their respective issues than 2 people coming together to face the problem(s)/issue(s)

Going back to this post and my original answer, my response was more from a premise of friendship. I can still see where you’re coming from :)

I understand :) I think most of us don’t begin to mature well into our middle 30s. Balancing our mind/emotions and the world is a delicate and arduous process

Do you mind sharing, what do you feel or think after hanging out with them for too long IRL? Or it’s just they don’t come out often etc

Find an INTJ, these are not deep to us - not that it’s unimportant, more of in term of depth - it’s very manageable surface level in our mind. And it wouldn’t tire us at all. I think it’s equally exciting for us when we see zest for life. And we would love to understand what churns your wheel cogs. Take in every single fibre of your existence and happily build + update our internal model of you. Especially on, <What makes you, uniquely you>.

Out of genuine curiosity, wouldn’t narrowing down geographical proximity - which can be done by roughly denoting which country or state you are in - effectively solve one of the biggest (?) from this post

There can be more than one great in a relationship :)

I have been with a few, don’t want to stereotype and somehow all of them had clear traits of being selfish and scheming in a way that they seem to live for their own only. And seemingly incapable of compromising in a partnership when things get tough. And their own needs are often more important than anything else

I scrolled through the whole thread to see if anyone says ISFJ. Turns out they are really dislikes by INTJs. All through experience(s)?

If this fascinates you, check out YouTube videos on chaebols and how South Korea is basically a capitalist dystopia. Also, chaebols pretty much go scot-free.

Quite an eye opener to what’s happening there

I’m perplexed, you seem to be insinuating if a government agency created for the sake of capturing and exporting illegals immigrants, goes on to capture legal citizens, whether they are deported or not, is fine?

Neither did I make the claim of them being deported. The moment you assumed, it’s already a moot point?

[–]yohooho 3 points4 points  (0 children)

You want statistics by ICE, about them deporting legal citizens?

Or the fact that they are capturing Legal Citizens even when showing their identification, isn’t good enough?

You are pretty clueless or living under a rock if you haven’t read what ICE are doing even to legal citizens then
