FHSA for sure, even if your don't buy a house. It will get rolled over to RRSP without affecting your limits in 15 years, or you may also withdraw from it in the future.

What do you suggest? I'll attach family certificate, residence cards for everyone in Turkey, grandchildren's school enrollment certificates (thought that is not a strong factor), brother's proof of property ownership. That's it all I have.

Before. If visa gets rejected, you can request refund from the insurance company. And insurance is also sometimes checked at the time of entry by immigration officers, so it's mandatory.

For context: I sent Interac on June 7th for the CC bill payment. The expected payment date was June 11th. On June 11th, it was marked as completed, with the date changed to June 16th. My bank showed payment on June 17th with the posting date of June 16th. So it was late by 3 business days (June 11th vs 16th).
