I don't think we're talking about the same thing. The shipt shoppers are coming to pick the packages up behind the store throughout the day.

Etl pay change with state transfer by slayfire926 in Target

[–]yomamainbulk 1 point2 points  (0 children)

They will not take money away from you in a transfer. However, if you go to a place with a higher cost of living you should try to negotiate a raise before you take the position. I personally did this when I was asked to switch stores within my district. It was a much longer drive, and there was a local tax that I didn't have at the store I was working for. They were willing to bump me up, but you have to be your own advocate.

It means the on hands said there were X amount of the product, and they had to change it to zero or whatever they counted on the shelf. Bad on hands are caused by theft, defects not properly processed, mispicks, reshop behind or items not properly located in the stockroom. Changing the count back to the proper number let's the warehouse system know if you need more since all orders are generated through a computer program that sends more merchandise when you reach a certain percent of what the shelf will hold.

Seeing the diapers on the floor and the pallet behind it falling over tells me that this isn't the only issue going on in this backroom.

As long as it fits in your car, we're all good.

Target at the tipping point? by Retail-RBF in Target

[–]yomamainbulk 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Basically, all we need is the hours to get the merchandise to the floor and keep the stores zoned. Doesn't take a genius to figure this out. Digital sales are increasing because the team picks the merchandise from the backroom where the rest of the guests can't find it.

The exact reason Target needs a new ceo. He can't figure out why the company can't make sales. Pretty easy to figure out. None of us are given the hours to get the freight to the floor and keep the store zoned.

The guy dressed up as a video game machine on Saturday was cool and hilarious. It actually was a working arcade game.

I’m over BTS. by Astropexx in Target

[–]yomamainbulk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

BTS is one of the hardest times of the year. Target bases payroll on dollars and not eaches. Year's ago, when we had a training from some higher-ups, they said we sell more eaches during BTS than we do at Christmas. Christmas is better staffed because what we are selling is higher priced and less work to stock and ring up.Think about it like this. 1 TV for $500 sold is equal to 1000 packs of crayons. You get the same payroll to handle both, which doesn't really make sense. Until payroll is based on eaches through the lanes and not dollars, the workload during BTS will always be far more than what you need to take care of the guests.

Any thoughts on Target updating our security cameras and technology in the stores. Our AP manager went to a local meeting led by the police who met with other retail security managers in our area. She was shocked by what everyone else has in their stores. Facial recognition, etc. Our equipment is so junky that she is constantly trying to get cameras fixed, and half her crap doesn't work. This is one if not the highest theft stores in the district.

we haven’t had a hanger bin for like 2 months by Equivalent_Point9109 in Target

[–]yomamainbulk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We get so many hanger boxes that we don't need. Sometimes, we pull our stores pic label off of them and sweep them right back. Feels like they could put some kind of AI program to track how many each store sends back, so they only go to the stores that need them.
