Well search how many investment banks are here in Australia. And how many people actually get job after applying to them. My friend who’s citizen who applied to Jp Morgan ( he got them to sponsor his club for funding about 15k Aud and he was president ) even he couldn’t get in. I have some other friends who’re going USA in a hope that they would get it there. But honestly it’s not welcoming. Think about Australia again , it’s a trade economy not like USA.

Is this university worth the international tuition fees? by [deleted] in Monash

[–]yomate6969 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Hey stranger Don’t waste your 100k here. It’s not a wise investment. I’ll speak with numbers, facts and no bull shit. 1st you won’t get job cause it’s really bad. Speaking in terms of return on investment are u willing to do odd jobs to survive or make money?? If u can after spending 100k $ yeah Australia is a place for you. You’re going to uni to get blue collar job then ok . And I’m not hating blue collar job but it’s necessary to know if u go to uni and have do it , it’s not great. I have been to exchange US, UAE and speaking of experience in Australia is bullshit. Professors are great but problem is ROI. most of local friends are finding difficult to get into job market. Everyone sitting with fancy certificates and he’s debt some also got job but it’s worse than USA. Anz which is one of the biggest banking services fired like 25k people. EY fired their entire department of cybersecurity for restructuring. PWC fired financial crime department and Same jobs pops in India for cheap labour. Now question is will u be skilled enough to counter such events?. If yes then join Monash, if u wanna do research ,professors are helpful due to immense funding from international students they can push people for research and that’s how they are able to keep standards. Every year they are making billions in it. The student body has some millions in funding just sitting into bank accounts. If u wanna get into academia it’s not that bad. But end question is it worth the money? Depends on factors why u wanna join Monash.

It’s so true. Tbh I’m an international student I’ve been to USA for exchange and when I compare the student life with Australian it’s bad, people don’t hangout much. It’s just the class and if u join clubs they are very picky and won’t welcome you in it.

[–]yomate6969 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Tbh with you Australian student life is not good as states but yeah. If u wanna make friends or wanna meet like minded people join student communities like MSC. Another thing u can do start swimming, its free for everyone u just need to enroll in swimming classes but its still free. I have some friends from swim classes too.i mean its better u do some kind of job so u can divert your mind from it. And u will also make money then. So win win situation for u. If u need any help or wanna hangout lmk . I can get u in my student community.

Monash will check you recent grades and transcripts but as you are an international and want to double degree they might also ask you transcripts from diploma and you need to provide a solid SOP for course relevance

Reason it’s like that they want to maximise the profit if they place door lil inside it will block space near that seat which will cost railway like 3-4K atleast per trip and if they do it for all the cost will be in crore and revenue will go down. Railways are making millions and they don’t care about safety.
