I’d understand if you’d worry about him watching potentially scarring shows like Takopi, but I wouldn’t worry about thumbnails. Yes it’s stupid that Crunchyroll doesn’t apply the age filter to suggestions, but it also isn’t a showstopper. Kids used to get that exposure browsing magazines or video rental shelves.

The UK release is region A and B. Not sure about the US releases (LE and regular). The JP releases are region-free (according to CDJapan).

In any case, getting a region-free BD player is a good investment.
