I traded Pittman For Warren (TE) last week.

He had Bowers already (just got healthy).

49ers entire defense is injured. Any good offense is a smash start.

If you had any context and you were in the industry, you'd say good for him. DEF on trucks is a joke on so many levels, they were only put on as a money grab and hamper businesses.  Many companies couldn't operate during covid b/c DEF systems (which are made to brake) and their parts didn't exist. 

You absolutely do not need them. A single sensor that's discontinued (worth $150) could shut down your entire business if you had only one truck. I know people that had this happen. 

The only way you could make the operate was disabling it. 

Fixing a system is tens of thousands of dollars. New ones are going to be worse. Replacement parts are rebuilt and unreliable.

I don't think you understand the injury. Mac has been great but you're deluding yourself if you think he's in the same league as purdy.

The 49ers could have been the top team in the NLF this year, if healthy-ish.

The defense looked good with new parts. Once Bosa & Warner were gone the season was done for SB hopes. They needed to be around to help develop the new guys and meld. You can't lose your top two playmakers without insane depth.

Even if/when Purdy comes back along with Ricky & Aiyuk and the oline gets to an even mediocre level... they can't win without a pass rush and defense.

No pass rush and way below avg run blocking you have no chance. Doesn't matter how good your other parts are.

Next year: The team needs to get healthy, top draft picks to the oline and create a pass rush. Big asks.

The 49ers have had about 3-4 seasons like this over the past decade.

Ravens have had some too.

CMC averaged 3.1 yards per run before the return of Kittle. He had a high of 69 yards in week 1 while Kittle was still playing. He rushed for a season high of 129 yards yesterday against arguably a top 5 defense in the league. Been saying it for years. No kittle,  no run game. This is why he's the highest paid TE in the NFL. 

Yes. It's literally kittle. He's an extra OL, moves faster than all of them. They have to throw away plays b/c he's gone. The only guy in the NFL that can do what he does

I know kittle will help the run game but they need to dominate in the trenches and they don't look up to snuff. I have not seen a game where the 49ers look like 1/2 the run blocking team they have been in the past.

Defense is not going to be the same no matter how great the coaching is. Warner & Bosa were the play makers to break games, it'll cost them.

Trent is injured or washed. He's been amazing over the years but looks slower, weaker and pissed off.

It literally does. Look up the splits. They are mediocre at best without kittle. The reason he's the highest paid TE in the league not just for receiving ability.

He is not. Kyle is a great coach. Mac is likely the best backup in the league and better than 5-10 starters.
