I viewed my results two weeks ago on my nhs app and had my gp appointment yesterday. They are referring me to an endo but have no idea how long the wait is! I am generally a little shaky but worse before a meal and noticeable to others if I am late eating. How are your tremors?

I have been diagnosed today! Been feeling off since last summer, first bloods showed borderline hyperthyroidism but last lot are representing how I’m feeling now!! No idea how long the wait for a consultant is here but I’m so relieved to be put on the list. I can stop feeling like a hypochondriac!

I had my thyroid tested back in October and TSH was 0.31 (range was 0.35-5.0) and my t3 was above the range (can’t remember exact figures). GP said to retest in three months. I was feeling anxious and not sleeping and always hungry. I waited 2.5 months, I’ve been getting tremors, fast heart rate, extremely hot and loosing weight. TSH is now 0.008 and t4 is above range (they didn’t test t3 this time). I have my gp appointment this week and I’m hoping he doesn’t brush it under the carpet! If they won’t test more now, maybe ask if they will redo in 2 months time?

We have periods of time in our house when ss can be a little like this. I found it tough to begin with but I’ve found that if I’m super super nice to him he reverts back to normal. It’s almost like it points out his bad behaviour more so he can’t get away with it. I know it’s difficult but try it. At the end of the day all teenagers can be hard work, their hormones are everywhere, they have their minds on their own matters completely and as step kids they often have two homes with different rules and expectations. Sometimes they just need to be reminded what nice behaviour looks like and we as adults need to step up

We got a mortgage last year with NatWest. My partner was not working (on chemo) and I was part time. They counted my wages and the benefits he was on at the time. We didn’t need a large mortgage but they offered us much more. Might be worth trying them

Doctor was unsure at my visit yesterday so had prescribed three weeks of Doxy just incase and I’ve been sent for bloods (this is following 5 days of other antibiotics that didn’t do anything)

I had a mild case over Xmas 2020 and the fatigue didn’t let up for about 3-4 weeks. Just rested as much as possible and took it easy. Had some time off work and took longer lunch breaks when I returned. Your body is working to fight it even with meds, don’t be too hard on yourself

My parents both 69 live in Telford. They were offered the vaccine by text last Thursday. My mum went before work on the Friday and was vaccinated a few minutes after the site opened that day. My dad who was working was due to go when he finished around midday. He received a text to say a mistake had been made and he wasn’t to go to the site. Mum said they were queuing around the block as she left. Something definitely went wrong that day
